Hey Guys, Major MB for another video, today i took another one of my cars and this is a Rover 25 with the 1.6 16v petrol engine with 108bhp, in this video i do the first test drive if the car runs good and everything works properly.
Fun car to drive, reliable and easy to fix also cheap to buy and to run.

What a clunker :D Rovers went bancrupt for a reason.. But if you wannna buy one of those be aware of these things. -blown head gasket (especially the 1.8l gasoline engine) the diesels are relatively fine -If you have a key with central log buttons PLS use it while pointing at the car and not far away from it. It's not like in a Clio II where is doesn't open, the entire key loses it's memory and you might have to reprogram it which is hard nowadays if you don't live in the UK. (Rover's dead since 2005) -all the bells and whistles like A/C, power windows, -sunroofs.. can obviously break. On the positive side: -You got a rare car that is about to die because noone really cares about the brand also the 25 where considered ugly so it's a "beater car" for most people. -They have really durable leather seats that's what they were really good at. - "unusual" combinations like beige or brown interiors are not uncommon so if you like having a beige interior you don't have to look around for long.

@@Steve1766 yup and I did, before I bought one, and it looks like to me that I have one In my driveway, that was the rating for the 2001 or 2002 I believe, in the facelift (mk2) rover 25/ZR side impact door bars were installed as standard and a re in-forced front end was standard too, so I’d say it’s probably gonna be 4 stars as rover ironed out safety issues with the mk2

Nah they're pretty good, particularly if you want something a bit sporty that rides well. The 1.8s have headgakset issues but the smaller engines and the diesel are very reliable.
