Rover 620 Ti Engine noise with Dump Valve

Rover stopped using the intake plenum with "turbo" printed on in late 1996 to reduce costs, so that they could use one common intake on both the turbocharged t16 and NASP t16 engines. The intakes are similar the only difference is the printing on them. The intake plenum with injection printed was introduced in the facelift 620ti. All 620tis made after the facelift change have "injection" printed on the intake plenum and they also use wasted spark ignition instead of a distributor.

'Injection' on intake plenum! So did you bolt a Turbo onto a normal engine? or have you had a change in the intake plenum?

620 "TI" is factory a turbocharged petrol engine... 200bhp
