For some reason I prefer either the really early ones or the late facelift ones! No idea why and I know the 2000-2001 should be the best ones 😁

As long as it is not rotten and has only minor rust , DON'T scrap it ! They are worth being overhauled because they are the last true classic Brittish cars . I know , I being a Dutchman did that with a 2000 Cowley 1.8 Connoseur in Arden green with Sandstone leather . Headgasket , radiator plus hoses , automatic overhauled . Got her for 5 years now and wanna keep her untill I die . Fantastic salooncar with a unique personality no German or Jap comes even close to ! I❤️75

Lovely Jubbly, had a relative who had the diesel, best motorway mile muncher he'd ever owned.

100% I've had over a dozen 75 / zt diesels and they are great cars for motorway. Testimonial to that was my old diesel auto tourer. I landed in Cherbourg to drive to far side of Austria and drove straight none stop bar filling it up with diesel twice. Did it in just over 17 hours of driving, a sat between 80 and 110 the whole way. Plenty of modern cars would have thrown a warning sensor half way there lol.

Always informative, I followed you advice re EGR bypass, working perfectly. Be good to get another 75 back on the road. But of course, the star of the show, is your Pup!!😂

Look forward to seeing the next part. I had a V6 freelander and it can be a pretty daunting opponent when you need to work on it.

Yeah awkward enough to work at definitely. Even in a freelander it fills the bay rightly

I have to announce the car has been sold. Things where getting tight and I had a few big decisions to make. Fortunately karma has rewarded me with my 6 door Rover 75 and you can find the video about it here. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpDVZ2t3ea5oaKs
