I was given this model mulcher (mine's red) and I have to say I'm pretty impressed with it so far. I only wanted it to mulch green corn stalks and sorghum stalks and it does this with ease. I break off the root ball as the feed gap isn't big enough, but it handles the larger corn stalks with ease. I use a piece of wooden dowel to help push the leaves into the gap and to keep my hands well away. I don't think this type of electric mulcher is up to the challenge of palm fronds or larger wooden sticks but would highly recommend it for light garden work such as soft corn stalks and thin prunings.

I think this is mainly good for less than pencil thickness branches, to mulch up and so reduce the bulkiness of it and its leaves, and then to put the thicker branches into the green waste wheelie bin for the council to pick up.

Can you do a video of the manual, or do you not have it? I am interested in the recommended thickness of branches.

I was cursing this when it was stopping every 4 minutes because the plug vibrated off. But being an electric motor is both a curse and an advantage, less maintenance than a petrol motor, but not as powerful maybe.
