Tassie is a stunning place to own a classic car. Great uncluttered roads with outstanding scenery. A few years back I flew down to Hobart from Sydney and bought a P6B 3500S sight unseen! And drover her back via the ferry of course! Great car, never missed a beat and a great island (where my parents met). All the best with your Rover, they are fine cars if a little quirky re fixing, but very well designed and built. All the very very best with your project. I love these cars and are currently on my seventh ... yes a bit tragic.

Looks very good, those roofs are just sealed on.

Remarkably little structural rot to see so far. Let's hope that holds good for the rest of the car.

That looks like it came up alright. I didn't realise those other panels at the front and back just came off like that, but that's pretty handy. Are those 'green' too now?

Those other panels will also be SCA green. It will be a two-tone green car.

The "easy" panel removal is one of the great characteristics of these cars, the London fx4 black cabs are the same.

A large Gazebo or tent can obviously be used to spray a car away from the elements if no garage.
