So glad we found your video. The instructions manual does not show how to wire it to a power source. It didn't even come with a power cord or any wiring for that.

Love ours, ordered in February and ran all summer and now onto heat mode. It does have CL code today for clean, but i have already cleaned it. If the manual says how to reset could you help me out with how?? I lost my manual! Great video by the way sir!

the manual says you should leave 8inches above the air handler to allow for proper intake. They butted it right to the top in the video.

This was our only option since the cabin is all windows. We only use the cabin 3 months out of the years so it's not in constant use.

What size is the special adapter? My pump has a 5/16 female, and it seems like the male port is a 5/16 with a different coarser thread. I got adapters from Amazon, and they are all to 1/4. What do I need, l’m pretty confident with my diy, but AC stuff is new to me.

No space above the indoor unit? Will that be problematic for maintenance?

No, we made sure we could get to the filter before installing. Worst case, we unclip it off the wall if any majors happen which is easy to do.

Torque Specs ARE in the included manual... 15 /31 for the size unit that I got, but they have a table for you to reference... I guess the contractor didn't read the manual..

They require a disconnect not a break box.

Where is the main power cord that plugs into the wall? Does it come with it?

There’s a communication cable that runs from the indoor unit, to the outdoor unit. You, or an electrician needs to run a wire from a new breaker in the panel, to a disconnect box, then to the outdoor unit. Pretty easy to do

I'm trying to deep clean a Rovsun 12000 btu mini split indoor unit and can't get the cover off easily. Anyone know where to find instructions on how to do that?

There is a few silver screws you need to remove to get the main cover off. One has a plastic over it , bottom center of the vent grille. I had to make a tool and bend it to pull that cover off to access the screw

We weren't able to use it since it was installed in a cabin without cell service or wifi.

4:05 I started to undo the cap I hear the gas coming out I thought it was refrigerant coming out I was like "Oh crap put the cap back on" The book sux doesn't explain any of that I know what I have read the actual refrigerant is in the condenser unit.

We unfortunately didn’t have anywhere to put it since the cabin is mostly windows. We double checked and it’s ok as it’s not a full time live in cabin and it won’t be in constant use.
