There’s a video of a 3/4 ton duramax smoking a new viper in south Florida and you actually get to see the car beside him when he’s racing the guy. If a Chevy LS/LT can't fit, why bother? So little bang-for-buck with Japanese motors... How much does the K20 weigh, though? I traded in my MR2 for an Ultima GTR: too little space for BIG tires in MR2, barely fits V6, less trunk space than Ultima's (after you fit a V6 + intercooler...), etc: If Toyota did a N/A V6 to start with, plus bigger wheelwells & a transaxle w/o dog-gears rated for HP of a V6-turbo,, maybe I'd have kept it... swapping the tranny, bigger brakes, PLUS everything else = more work+money than I'd put into such a slow car...with pop-up headlights that fail, rofl, that's so 1980's.

I'm building 2 k swapped fieros right now. One is a turbocharged TSX k24 and the other is an NA K20. High powered, mid engine = loads of fun. I was looking into the quaife sequential 6speed dog box for my k24 swap. They were introduced at the 2017 PRI show with a retail of $6k, I have yet to find one. Anyway, great build! Love it.

Depends on how your using it. The viper may not step out as quick in a straight line, but I can guarantee you it's more predictable in a turn, and it probably uses a quarter of the gas to be just as quick, how could you go wrong?
