A little fun fact about the Band-Name AnnenMayKantereit if nobody has mentioned it yet: The name for those who don´t know comes from the surnames of the three founding band members Christopher Annen, Henning May and Severin Kantereit. One day after playing, the band got asked from a stranger how their (bands) name is called and they just politely, in order, introduced themselves with Annen, May, Kantereit. And thats how they got their name.

I love her facial expressions when Henning May goes into his lower register because it is his signature growl. His voice would make any woman swoon ..... There are artists with the x factor that makes them stand out above all others and then there's other artists who have nice voices but their karaoke voices they're not signature and Henning May has the signature voice....that growl😍

A little late to the party, but milky chance is such a phenomenon: it's a german band and they did quite good in the chats with stolen dance, but after that they did way better in the states than in Germany. I remember I stumbled upon them again after stolen dance years ago and I googled them and was really surprised they where still around and doing really good. I legit thought before that they where just a one hit wonder...

The Parcels are great, but checking out Giant Rooks is also *highly* recommended! You just might end up in another rabbit hole once you try it 😉

Henning May had a in a German Talk Show where he sings one of his originals together with the host. There you can check the pronunciation, again. But you did good, already! Our vowels sound like the Spanish ones (for example like in 🎶feliz navidad). You should listen to some of their originals in English. These are from 10 to 11 yrs,ago. WAITING, LEAVIN, SOMEDAY SOMEWHERE AND YOUR DOOR ( S. Kantereit is playing a percussion instrument called a kahone with his hands and their guest is playing a metal drum with his hands. It's really cool. Also, James (St. James Infirmary) from Live in Berlin concert footage shows how they have a huge fan base now in Europe. Henning Msy does a great job on Neil Young's THE NEEDLE &THE DAMAGE DONE AND on Bruce Springsteen's I'M ON FIRE and Justin Timberlakes CRY ME RIVER. I think you'll like his versions.
