I know Henning as a street musician in the cologne city Germany. Even there, his voice ruled everywhere. Without a microphone or else, just a man with a band in the street. Super awesome

Thanks for doing a reaction video to this song! It is fabulous, and your appreciation of it matches my own---the harmonica is rocking! I read somewhere that these guys spent an hour or more checking spaces in that building to find the right spot to sing in,,,very special, to hear that wonderful, clear echo. It is definitely the best version of Roxanne that I've ever heard.

Glad you do some Annen May Kantereit. They started off singing in the streets of Cologne still beeing in High school. In the beginning they recorded by them self. Not that clean as now done in the studio. Suited his voice real good. Would be glad if you do "Barfuß am Klavier" and Pocahontas even if its German language. Could use a converter to get the meaning. By the way: Polices singer was Sting. The harmonica is a setup done by Annen May Kantereit. Should listen to the original to compare.

This is a very interesting cover they did here. See, The Police wrote it in G Minor due to the fact that Sting has a very high pitch, while AMK took it down to E Minor, in order to make it more approachable for guys.. especially for Baritone Type of Voices. As for the Members of The Police: they were a 3 Piece: Sting on Bass + Lead Vocals, Stewart Copeland Drums + backing Vocals and Andy Summers: Guitars + backing Vocals.

YOu dont have to react to it, but if you like what Annenmaykantereit is doing they have great songs in german with lots of different styles or lets say creativity they all play multiple instruments. You can basically sit through their albums while you clean the hosue and it feels like one concept if you knwo what I mean. Good to lsiten to even if you dont understand german
