That said, there's a good chance that she's gonna be either a swordswoman or an archer; as Tartaglia is her student, and we've all seen that Madam Ping / Streetward Rambler was shown in one of the old cinematics as a character wielding a polearm, while her 2 students, Xiangling and Yao Yao both use polearms as well. That said, Cloud Retainer uses a catalyst, while her ~daughters that she taught (Ganyu / Shenhe) use a bow and polearm respectively, so who knows for sure.

This also hasn't nothing to do with illogical decisions, skirk isn't a descender, and she isn't from khanreiah so she isn't going to be weilding some unknown abyssal power in teyvat especially since it's considered a sin, if she was playable and did do those things hoyo would've contradicted themselves. Additionally, even if she was a descender the traveler is one too, and zhongli is another suspected to be one, however they weild elements at align with teyvats law, it wouldn't make sense even gameplay wise to introduce skirk with a random new element without some big patch to go with it either.
