The recently released Top of the Pops 1980-1984 compilation features this version, all six minutes and eleven seconds of it. Well done to the compilers for deciding to include it rather than the single edit.

Best cover ever recorded! Use of synthesizers is sublime copied much later by many of the new wave bands in the 80's demonstrating that Roxy Music was way ahead of their time.

Written by one of the greatest song writer's of all time. Nice tribute by Bryan Ferry who was a massive fan of John Lennon and was affected by his death.

@@pwatts8846 ill give lennon he wrote a decent song but luckily ferry took it on and he's an amazing singer this is how its meant to sound heart soul and emotion not boring like lennons voice so no he hasn't gone to far he stopped short

A wonderful tribute from the start till the end. At 3:25 starts the delicious whistle part till it fades away at 6:11. When I get the opportunity I will ask Bryan if he can give me soms whistle lessons because this is one of the few things I don't skill
