I remember many years ago I was off school sick, lying on the sofa and this song came on the radio and I thought wow who is this. 20 Years later I saw her at Wembley and she was amazing.

Wonderful version of this song - the best ever. Tenille is beautiful, and the Captain captivating. I bought the album in the 70's, and played it to death. RIP Captain.

Although Spector spiraled downhill in his later years, you must admit he was a recording genius. This was one of his best and really highlighted Tina's talent. Hard to believe it lacked commercial success in America. May they both RIP.❤

Tina wasn’t as nice as people think… she was abused as a child. And that abuse turned to anger for men and women . She was angry but back then black ppl didn’t believe in doctors because of what YT doctors did to black people. We suffered in silence. Mental health is so deep. It goes into roots.. Tina wanted to be a YT woman so bad because she thought it would erase her abuse and trauma. That’s why she turned to rock/ soft rock. Bleached her skin and only wore blonde wigs. RIP SISTER TINA

I was nineteen when I first heard her, she was 27, finally got to see her when she was nearly 70. What a singer, what a voice, what a woman !
