Ooooh I love these flippy thingies!! You need to make another one for your new journal of ephemera! I particularly like the bird & it’s peachy pink breast, the butterfly & wallpaper make it all blend so nicely!! When my daughter & I have gone on cleaning, organizing & redecorating binges, I always say, “ It has to get worse before it gets better!” If you’re lucky, the mania is over by the end of the day, if not, you sleep on the couch!! haha!

SO pretty and useful! I can commiserate with your friend about smell and taste. When I do smell something now, it is altered. For instance, all soaps, detergents, scents smell like a dirty, sour dishrag. So disgusting! Taste fades in and out a bit, but has never returned to what it used to be. Really strong tastes are really the only ones that I recognize.Eating is no longer enjoyable. Really sorry for your friend to experience it. My neurologist says it may never return. TFS the inspiration, Rachel!

This video inspired me to make one that will go into my daughter’s nursing junk journal. I used her text book pages for the journal pages and used them for this pocket. I added the word LEARNING and a quote from Mother Teresa found in Wendy’s book Chicken Soup For The Nurse’s Soul on top of a medical dictionary piece for nurse on the outer page. I added a small pocket on the inside of the flip. I decorated that pocket with a bit of coffee dyed gauze and a bit of bandage. It turned out terrific! Thank you so much for the tutorial!

What a fun and relatively easy-lookng prject. Even though I know that yT keeps your videos, I'm so far behind on my favorite mixed media artists, that I save my own list of fav artists and a separate list of their idea which I think I can use when I start my own mixed media cards and journals. If I had to go through every artists videos to find ideas, I'd be a long time searching. I think I have a higher percentage of your projects than any of others. These tuck spots with flips and the pink and pink roses may be among the first ones I try. About six months ago, I found a sewing machine on a good sale, which is still in its box waiting on me to finish cleaning and setting up my craft room in the cheeriest part of my house. Well you won’t like London at the moment with the riots and demos they have destroyed monuments with graffiti and paint.
