Thank you for showing the stitches you are using. It was a good reminder that not much is needed at this stage since there will be more layers and detailed stitching to come. Looking forward to seeing the side panel!

It is looking good. I am still doing the invisible stitch on my wallpaper. It’s definitely taking a while. But I love it. Love always, Savana.🎀💝

Loving this Sarah. I wish I could find a thin wool blanket, I bought one but it is much to heavy I think. I may try flannel as a backing. Thanks so much for showing us how to put this together.

I am still looking for a large canvas. Very expensive. I may end up going to Home Depot and having them cut a piece of wood. They have some very lightweight boards made from compressed wood chips. I will just borrow my brothers electric sander to smooth it out. Unless between now and then I find a good price on a used canvas thrifting or something. But I also think my size needs may change because as we find out the prompts. I have my table and sort of my background. Sorted out. But not stitched down yet. I think until I get a bit further into knowing the prompts it’s just going to be basted. And I have a pack of steam a seam light 2. Which is a double sided fusible. But it’s a temporary stick. You can do a temporary adhesion of the components , yet pick it up and move it around as you find out a bit more. I think I can kind of guess so have in my mind kind of formulated what I want to do. And have it drawn on paper. But I am printing my own fabric using some fabric paints and stencils , then heat setting it. So it’s permanent. I just did not have what I wanted, and want to use things I already have. So am trying hard to be creative. While not spending a lot of money.
