It was Dom Montiglio who brokered that alliance and introduced them to eachother. He knew Mickey and they were both Vietnam Vets. Nino brought Dom to the White House first to discuss it. He even told Nino to have Dom come dressed in full uniform. Roy was just following orders from his Capo when they offed Spillane. The Sitdown between them ocurred afterwards. Without Dom suggesting it first to Gagi, it most likely never even happens.

John mentioned Roy's son Albert. Roy actually had three kids: Albert, Dionne, and Dawn. Albert committed suicide in 2017 while living in North Carolina. I believe he was 55 years of age. Dawn is a successful doctor (pulmonologist) and a professor at an Ivy League Medical School. Dionne is a custom dress maker and still lives in Massapequa. I can't imagine the trauma they have been through having to live with their dad's story.

I have been in contact with a person who knew him and to whom he bequeathed items related to his father before he passed, including notarized statements of provenance which Albert provided for him. He likewise confirmed that Albert has passed away. I didn't want it to be true and was extremely saddened to hear the news. But it is true.

There was no smell to the body as far as people complaining of an odir because it was January in NY and it was single digit temps so he was frozen stiff. Nino Gaggi was in prison when he complained to tge guard of chest pains and the guard ignored him. He died of a heart attack. His widow successfully sued the prison system for an undisclosed amount. They must have killed him at the garage or Pattys house, threw him in the trunk and drove his car to the varina boat club. Blood pumped quite a bit because there was blood all over tge inside of the trunk. Meaning they didn't stan his heart to stop the blood pump!
