During this time club football was so volatile between players they didn't care about national glory together as much as other nations. This kind of crap has slowly dissipated and we're suddenly making semi finals and finals in major competitions. This is a decade old. We now have great players who want to win together when it's the manager who is at fault. I understand this is 10 years old and I'm sure you've changed your mind.

A lot of teams are in transition. England need to hurry up and win something because Germany, Spain, Brazil etc will not stay terrible forever. The England team 10 years ago, did have a lot of good players but everybody else was really good, that's why they won nothing. You look at the players Brazil, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, france etc had, the England team wasn't that special. English media was and still is delusional.

Throw out the underperformers, bring in players on form but look to the youngsters, they need chances to develop. this is one of our biggest faults. we always do away with these major reforms and look to the next stars who could 'maybe' win us a competition. we need to sacrifice our 'usually' slim chances at the next ones and look to the future. we have to now, hardly any of these will still be at the next WC. look at other countries, germany in particular. 2000 and now. spains coaching system.

The truth is, it was already over years ago. we need a complete overhaul of football nearly. The money needs to get to properly advanced grassroots development. The FA needs to be torn apart and with EPL, football league, needs a transparent, democratic, umbrella body that doesent conflict interests. gives everyone a fair playing field and balances the needs of the parties involved. we need to promote and train forward thinking coaches, develop managerial staff, replace older players with youth.
