My all time favorite. Roy had the voice of an angel. He was a part of my life from 1960 to today. Just think of the songs he could have been singing for the last 33 years. The greatest!

Saw Roy at The Front Row Theater in Cleveland. The band is doing Dom Dom Dom Dom-by Do Wah and stops. Roy starts singing and for some unknown reason , tears start streaming down my face. I don't know what was happening but I was there in the same room with him. I couldn't believe how great he was. Chilling and Thrilling.

First saw Roy at the Manchester Opera House I think in 67. From the first note played there was total silence from the audience, totally spell bound and silent because they wanted to hear that voice. Saw him several times at the Golden Garter in Manchester in the mid 70;s, the voice never changed, absolute magic!

Wow! What a, so very well articulated, tribute to one of the greatest artists of all time. And, speaking from experience, l can truly say, a tribute so very well deserved. Roy Orbison was one of 5 acts to perform at the very first concert l got to attend back in 1974 in Memphis, Tennessee. That place too, "CAME UNPLUGGED that night when Roy Orbison took the stage. Oh, and along with Roy Orbison, Gary (US) Bonds, The Drifters, Frankie Vali and the Four Seasons, and Tommy James and The Shondells performed as well. As the later Four Seasons song title says, "Oh What A Night." :)

That horrible 'fusion intro thing' was from Roy's guitarist Bucky, who was really good, but he was absolutely the WRONG guitarist for Roy.
