He died far too young over 30 years ago, but he had more talent in his little finger than any of the so called 'stars' of today. He was a musical genius and his his songs will last forever.

I love this song. My Dad use to sing it to my Mom in the 80s. Sadly, she passed away in 1993 from cancer. He stayed a widower and never loved anyone like my Mother ever again. It’s a really sad thing, but at the time…when I was a kid, even I knew at that age it was a very beautiful thing they had ♥️

Roy worked with Jeff Lynne, George Harrison, Tom Petty, and Bob Dylan on the Traveling Wilburys. First sessions. Talk about a supergroup. It was insanity. Roy passed away right after recording. They just had a “ghost” singing Roy’s parts in the video for “End of the Line.”

Big musicians of the day back in 87 were falling over each other to play and sing BACK UP for Roy! Elvis Costello, K.D.Lang, Bruce Springsteen, etc. ELVIS was once asked if there was another singer he admired and The King replied without a moments' hesitation: "I WISH I could sing like Roy."

George Harrison said he loved Roy Orbison's voice. When they were recording together and doing the video for "Handle With Care", George Harrison said he would get tingles from that voice.

Yes and also don't forget the great Jeff Lynne, he was a HUGE admirer was also in awe of Roy's voice! He even stated that his 3 biggest influences were The Beatles, Roy Orbison, and (surprisingly enough) Del Shannon.

Amen I’m 36 and wow he made me cry two days ago as I heard the whole song for the first time. I’ve had this type of love but sadly only for 7 months so it’s painful but his voice makes me remember the beautiful moments, peace and love to you 🔥🤘

I swear his voice is producing two different tones at the same time, which gives Orbison a unique sound we enjoy, but can't quite describe. I hear a high note and a mid range note being produced simultaneously.
