@@marknewbold2583 Well, if you mean England/The U.K., obviously not since they declared themselves independent of "Mother England" and started their own country & government. If you mean what would eventually become the U.S.A., I'd say yes, especially since they were willing to fight so hard against almost insurmountable odds in order to have their own country where they could live as they wished w/o being ruled by a tyrant on the other side of The Atlantic!!

Remember the singing cowboys? Roy Rogers and Dale Evans were once the biggest names in that uniquely American film genre. Interesting to see Roy try to be current for the times by performing the Merle Haggard song "The Fightin' Side of Me," the lyrics of which pretty effectively illustrate the deep division in this country during the Viet Nam War.
