Dale and Roy had beautiful voices. I watched them every time they were on tv. I got a Dale Evans cowgirl suit in 1955 guns and all. I'm 72 years old I still have the top. I wore those boots everywhere I went. Except church

I begged my father to get a Dale Evans cowgirl suit in1955 guns and all, too, TheSarahbeach, believe it or not, LOL! I'm 72 years old now, too, and I just loved both Roy and Dale so much! Dale could ride and shoot, even though she couldn't fight like Roy! She also wrote the song, "how do I know, the Bible tells me so", and Mother let me play that record until it wore out, and both Roy and Dale quoted scripture on the shows!!! 💞

He was truly a WONDERFUL PERSON. I loved him. And Trigger. When I watched reruns of his TV show from the 50s, I laughed and cried. What a sweet representative of how to live a GOOD life!!

That is an Awesome Tribute,Thanks ! We just moved to Southern Ohio from Central Illinois in March . Our home here is 10 min. from Roy Rogers boyhood home. Been by it a couple times ! In Portsmouth, Ohio about 20 min. South of where we live is The Flood Wall Murals. 2000 ft. Long Flood wall with amazing murals painted about the History of Portsmouth. One section has a painting of Roy Rogers on Trigger !

Same! I’m ancient, I remember when Jean Harlow died! They always reminded me of my grandparents from my father’s side. They dressed like them and had a beautiful sprawling house in Arizona in the 40s. I don’t remember them taking about their movies but they certainly listen to Dale Evens and Roy Rodger albums when I was young. Grandfather died in 1964 (60 years already how time flys! Nana passed in 1978 and I miss them both so much!

We didn't have all that chaos like today. Roy, Dale and others. I miss them all. We had more of these shows and less disturbing commercials and news. I miss them. 😢

I love Glen too, They show many of his goodtime hours show, yet they took off the one with Jack Lord and I never knew why. There is only a short clip sining one sea shanty now.
