This is an interview with Roy Wood by Phil Coulter on his Coulter & Company show broadcast on 23rd July 2004. Roy talks about his musical history and performs some songs on acoustic guitar and with the band, including California Man, Fire Brigade, I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday and Blackberry Way.

I've said for many years now that Roy Wood should have had a Knighthood for all that he's done for music. He put the Brummie music scene on the map. I love all of his music but See My Baby Jive is my favourite. I was pregnant with my first baby and I was in the pub drinking lemonade and it came on the jukebox. It was then that I felt my baby kick, being young and I didn't know what to expect. My son is 50 now and he also loves it, but he didn't know the story behind it. I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday is my favourite Xmas record. Listening to him talking about his story, he speaks very eloquently considering he always looked crazy. I've got several of his CD'S and I play them regularly on fullblast. The neighbours go nuts. But I don't care the 60's and 70's was my era❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Roy Wood's talent was as good as ELOs. The WIZZARD band was great but wasn't as mainstream as ELO.
