QT has now officially discovered the cam!! 😊😊😊 She was busy gardening and then walked up to the camera and saw this beautiful chick reflected in the eye of the lens! Awww so adorable!! She has a dirty bill from all the dirt she was moving around but was just as cute as a button. She then walked up the hill and down the track and we see the wings of TBT chick flapping in the background. QT will go meet her new friend today! Thank you for watching!

(Sharon), I agree with everything that both of you are saying. That cute little squille, the way she sort of wags her tail feathers, I cannot get enough of watching her, and Lady Hawk gives us great views of our not so little QT. I may need to go back and see what OGK looked like. I think that once this colony fledges, there will be another group of adults coming in . To me, the Royal Albatross are the real Royals.

Trivia buffs, too ❣️ Never saw the film but, William Holden is a favorite from the selection of actors during that time in history. Too bad he had such a tragic end. Oh this is off the charts adorable!! She has new bling and now she's showing us up close her beauty ❤ I will always see OGK's waddle and skycalls in her, and think she will have Mom's graceful landings and takeoffs. She is getting a bit restless and excited as the sea calls her more. Here in the States school is almost back in...I feel like that's where she is going..to learn to master flying, hunting, and eventually having her own chicks with a mate.
