Great lesson and thanks for the notation. The only thing I would say is make sure you split up the bars and group the rhythms evenly. For example on the 1st bar of the chorus you have a semi quaver (16th note) and two quavers (8th notes) grouped together. They would actually add up to more than a beat i.e. (1 e, a 2 e). This is a little confusing to read when trying to read the rhythm as they don't add up evenly! Other than that great work and excellent tones from the bass. :)

Thank you ! I don't use any wah (you probably heard the wah of the backing track), but I think I'll buy a Mooer Envelope Analog Auto Wah for this effect, I need one for She's Creeping, apparently Mike uses a Boss Auto Wah

Loïck Jouaud Oh, hahaha! That makes sense. Yeah, I bought the Boss AW-3 and it sounds exactly like the recording! I only use it on the bass channel though, because it gets a little wonky with 1+ octave. If you ever decide to get it, set the first 2 knobs at 0%, the third at 50%, and the mode set to "Humanizer". That should work for both Lights Out and She's Creeping.

Yes Mike uses step down standard tunings, I just use drop D because I don't want to retune all my strings for every songs

So Ive been trying for months to get that bend, but I cannot full bend anything on bass. Either my fingers slip out, or I need to reach over the bass and physically yank the string out of position. Anything more than a half bend puts immense pain on my fingers, and I'm not new to playing bass.

Uses 2 or 3 fingers to make a full bend, for the full bend on 12th fret, I use my fingers on 10th and 11th frets on the same string to help me
