I did carnival last year from the states California did KFC WEN I got there at the airport but the later did Royal Castle and it was great had it before I left can’t wait to come back. Oh how I miss Trinidad the culture, the people and all.

It was 1989 in tunapuna for carnival... Ah mash up ah 2 piece (Leg & Thigh) with fries & ah biscuit... Plus plenty ketchup n mustard & rel rel relllllll pepper... 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 It was & still de bess... 🙂👍 It wuzzent meh 1st time eating royal castle ehh... But it was my best memory from eating it... Ah really wish NY had it doh... But atleast yuh enjoy it fuh all ah we... So big up... 🙂👍🍗🍟🌶🇹🇹

I had royal castle for the first time when I visited in 2012. Haven’t been back since by by far it’s one of the best fried chicken places I’ve ever tried. We ain’t have nothing like it in Canada

Man, I remember going to "town" (aka Port of Spain) as a kid JUST so we could get Royal Castle! I was going Naps Boys in the mid/late 80's when they opened one up in San'do! Yeah boy, that was a treat. When they opened one in Point... look trouble!

Royal Castle memories.. ok.. I was a little girl, maybe 4 or 5 years old, my parents had a store on Mucurapo street and once a week, after my grandma finished her job, she would come to the store and take my little brother and me, walk up to the Library corner to catch a taxi to PleasantVille. There was a Royal Castle there and EVERY SINGLE TIME she would buy us snack boxes to take home. It was her favorite and became mine. Drizzling that ketchup, mustard and peppersauce all over everything, I could never wait, she always let us steal a few of thos yummy crinkle cut fries. Then that good chicken would be smelling up the whole taxi on the ride to Blitz Village, yuh know everybody in that car was a watery mouth!! LOL.... I have not been back to Trinidad in 32 years, and sadly, my grandma is no longer with us.. But I am heading back very soon, and one of my 1st stops will be at Royal Castle.. Not 1, but 2 snack boxes and I will eat them both up in honor of my beloved granny :))

My brother, Don in Texas.... even Royal Castle you make look good, I remember walking from Nelson street to get a devil dog or as we call it here, a corn dog but I have to say, no fried chicken was better than Honey Comb fried chicken on Prince & Duncan street.... maybe you know or don’t know, it was the very best in Trinidad 🇹🇹.... be safe and stay healthy brother, I have to bring my son to taste Royal Castle. See I knew royal castle had honey mustard. When I came to Trinidad in 2018 and told my cousin ask for honey mustard when we order the food she literally looked at me like I crazy. I remember when I was small and going to royal castle and getting honey mustard with my food.
