Royal Enfield 650 Black Out Colors & No More Himalayan?!

I like the LED for utility but the alloy wheels have to go. The LED and the blackout-ing of the engine parts already undermine the essence of what Royal Enfield is meant to deliver. RE has always been the best and most affordable vintage motorcycle brand and i dont want to see it steer away from its original purpose.

I do agree that they seem to be moving a little bit away from the modern classic styling they've had going on. But the original colors and options are still there, for now.

Much information concerning this Topic! From what I have read, not only will we see a Scram 450 in the fall of 2023...I believe the Himalayan will possibly change its name to Interlayan and it will be a 650. To much demand for bigger engines. I am confident I seen the new Himalayan color of desert sand or desert dune at eurocycle in Vegas! There was also talk on Utube Curly of RE 190 cc?????. The variables are endless. I personally cannot understand the vibrations concern. My 22 Himalayan runs smooth like a large sewing machine. RE has people out there around the world pushing their product and I believe the best, is yet to show itself! From New Zealand, Australia, Spain, South Africa, South and North America, to the poles and I believe the First RE is going up to one of the planets for Rough/Rugged Adventures! Limitless expectations.

Oh I definitely wouldn't say the Himalayan is particularly vibey, but compared to the 650 and 350 engine, it definitely is. A 190cc RE would be interesting...something like the Honda Monkey or the Dax maybe? I'm actually excited to see what they do with electric bike technology after buying into that. The future is definitely going to be interesting! -Tyler

@@CurlyWolf_ They have those electric enduros here in Vegas. The 250 is $12,995.00. The volt or the spark I think. Rumor has it their faster off the line. Was going to pick up a Scram for #2 but after watching you and your wife ride, I've fallen for the 350 classic. I find 55 to fast and 35 to 40 MPH is my League. The days of the RM 125 are over. No more hold on...if you can! Ride Safe Brother!

@@edwardkaminsky8142 if 55 is too fast for you then the 350 is perfect. She rode the meteor for the first time over the weekend and can't decide which one she likes more. Definitely likes the styling of the Classic over the Meteor though. -Tyler

Hi Curly! You're right, definetley the LS411 will stop production for sure. Some dealers have stock but, i dont think they will ordered more in coming months because of new himalyan 450cc. I will kept mine until i can. Loved the 350cc classic, grey metal with black aloy wheels. Cheers

I like the alloy rim option, but I still like chrome, brushed or polished aluminum.

Can you come over and clean my chrome? I decided 20 years ago, that I hate shiny things as I enjoy riding, not cleaning. Plastic is a good way to cover up everything that can shine! 😂

The 411 is for sure the worst of the RE engines in regards to smoothness, quietness and power. The 350 actually feels more powerful. Its odd the 411 doesn't even feel like it was made by the same company. LOL Im not sure I am impressed with the 450. I DO NOT like what I have seen in photos thats for sure. In fact I would look at other brands more closely if the 450 that has been leaked is what will be produced. Too many other great bikes out there in the 450 to 600cc range. Not to mention the bikes coming out of China are getting better and better.

That's so funny. I was just talking about how if the images of the 450 being leaked right now are what its going to look like, then it's completely going against all the design language that RE has been using. It's not a retro look AT ALL, and I hate it. I'm always surprised how similar in power the 350 feels to the 411, but with the added smoothness. -Tyler
