Nice review, Rishad. I'm always looking forward to your bike reviews because I'm also 6'1" and I get a good idea about how I'll look on a particular bike, just by looking at you. 😅 Of all the 650s by RE, this one I like the most. So much so that I'm willing to live with the stiff rear suspension. I'm sure some solution will come out in future for that.

Every new launches from RE is ending with same quote "It's a good bike but it has potential to be a great one". Seriously RE ?? Suspension center in Spain where some of the nicest roads rests.. Even when 90% of the revenue is from India, at the end just for Globalization and trying to get a tag of Global Brand they are ready to dump us. Seriously RE please consider it as an indication to think about your customers and be a brand which can deliver not only Good but great options out there. Yes Exception is there like Himalayan, classic but do they really think cracking 1 or 2 out of 13 would be sign to become a GLOBAL brand?
@JrFarren_Күн бұрын
Why are you so worked up about where RE sets up its testing centers or global operations? If you like the bike, just buy it and ride. It's not your job to manage their business strategy. RE doesn't need your approval to expand globally or set up in Spain. Stop overanalyzing and go enjoy the roads instead of crying about their choices 😵💫😵💫
@Abhisek_0312 сағат бұрын
@JrFarren_ Isn't comment section is something where we can present our thoughts? Of course from a buyer perspective I can take or leave it, but the analogy behind that suspension unit setup in Spain wasn't for the location at all... They can build it anywhere they want I don't care about that, what I am trying to say is they are tuning their suspension according to one of the best roads possible, which is present Global and a bit far future India. Anyways enjoy ur rides.
@brendonfernandes28775 сағат бұрын
The 650 series is designed for the international market where most of their sales happen. The 350 series is for the Indian market where most of the sales happen. Indians don't buy these high end bikes so they design it for good roads which are lacking in India.

The only thing stopping it from being a great bike is the rear suspension which can be easily swapped. And it’ll still be cheaper than its competitors.

I hear a lot of flak for Enfield Bear. Weight, suspension etc. my two bits. RE is making inroads in global markets at a competitive cost. Their novelty is classic design, great build and decent engine at that price. Also as an international brand, they are targeting niche audience - well built riders, good roads etc, because they can and want to increase their base. not everything can be seen from an Indian perspective only! I am 6’5 100 kg guy in India. I struggled to find a single bike suitable for me. Light, small bikes with soft suspensions never suited me for obvious reasons. My back would hurt after a mediocre ride too. The only alternative - buy expensive foreign bikes for exorbitant amount. So if RE is producing a niche bike for someone like me (or any heavy built, decently tall guy) I don’t see a problem! Scrambler or not, I don’t care….
@satheeshbalakrishnan1657Күн бұрын
Sad fact is that none of the 650's got a well balanced suspension setup. For Inty, the front is bad, for meteor, shotgun and Bear the rear is bad. Looks like RE is leaving some loose ends with each bike so that they do not cannibalize each other.

I own the shotgun and it is so hard in the suspension that i cant use my Custom- or what its called Premium/Signature Seat. I use the normal seat , cause it is a little bit softer. But newsuspension costs 1000 Euro with installation and thats really too much. I hope the Bear is in a okay way to use it without thinking everytime changing the suspension. A great bike, but i dont want a hard bike anymore. The classic 350 was sooo much fun, but looks like my grandpa
