Just a few short miles on this wet afternoon, to make sure all was well with the gearbox and clutch after stripping to fit the close ratio gears and to give some attention to the clutch, which had been slipping and dragging.

Is that bike charging properly? The ammeter started the ride fairly central and seemed to be taking a progressively steeper list to port as your ride went on.

I honestly rarely, if ever look at ammeters and hadn't noticed, although the lights were still bright when we got back home.

Some taxis can be almost as unpredictable as white vans. The Bullet, on the other hand, sounds like it is really happy to cruise all day. How much difference does the close ratio box make to performance?
