I just picked up a brother to my 2019 Royal Enfield Himalayan. This Bullet has quirks and character galore. Despite them all it makes you feel like a movie star from the 1950’s whenever you ride it. Come along for a full review!

Which 500cc? The CI, AVL or UCE? If it's UCE then who cares!! If AVL then, guess you havent seen the quirks of that engine. And if it's CI, then yeah thats the one that hurts but..... It was stopped way back and that's when RE started to develop. CI is not for everyone.... My CI 500 is from 92. Upjetted and goes like a rocket.

This bike has never been known for it's speed, and when it was first ordered in India from England back in 1955, it was mainly ordered for military purposes!! For mobility and transport purposes in harsh terrains and roads! Also, if one really knows it's engine and make out, one can easily repair it at any place and situation! This is also one of the main factors, as to why it was ordered back then!! It's really a superb and unique bike, and one of the very few bikes I presume, which has maintained it's body and design as exactly the same, in which it was manufactured roughly 80 years ago! These things including it's sound, and just it's road presence has made it an immortal bike, whether one likes it or hates it!! I am a proud owner of classic 350, 2012 model!!

I have a 2013 UCE B5 Bullet which I converted to an Amal carburetor (EFI sucks the big one) and installed an aftermarket muffler on. REAL Bullets are getting hard to find. But the UCE models are just as good once you get rid of the EFI trash and the huge heavy and very restrictive EPA muffler. I got everything from Hitchcocks Motorcycles in the UK. I rarely ride it above an indicated 55 mph.

@@MCCJustMotos They have the highest gear the engine has the power to pull. If you geared them any higher, it would actually slow them down. A long stroke 500cc single is going to have a low redline. A Harley EVO engine has a 5400 RPM redline, same as a 350 ci Chevy V8, because the pistons are the same size and weight. The RE 500 single is an old school engine that was not designed for speed, even when compared to some other engines of it's time, like the BSA Gold Star 500. Mine is Forest Green with gold pinstriping.

Is it run in and the exhaust is blue ? Too rich, running hot ,and please wait until it’s run in ffs did you do it properly ,this is the first bad review I have watched, it was the same for the Honda twins, if not run in properly they were terrible

Thanks for stopping by the channel. I saved the bike from the previous owner. I tuned the bike up before I rode ir. He had ran it a bit lean (hot, rich runs colder) but I got it running good. Sorry it was not a perfect video. It’s a great motorbike!

No no it was a very good video it’s me I am a nosey tool ha ha I am getting one this week hopefully will tear it down to bobber and use for my work bike,sorry if I sounded a bit mental but people never run bikes in properly nowadays and then they get vibration and very blue pipes, i new a bloke who took a Honda back and they virtually through him out the shop it was in a shocking state thanks for the video it’s a nice place you ride

Brakes??? What are those?? LOL, yeah the good news is this bikes does not go fast. Which means it saves you more time in braking with those long pull drums!
@indraneil84693 ай бұрын
@@MCCJustMotos Haha. Well, one of my Enfield has got Discs with abs and other one is barebone drum F&R, so I can feel the difference quite closely. Indian make Iron barrel Enfields got discs since the early 2000s, don't know why export models didn't get until the Unit Constructions came in. Anyways, happy thumping!
