Continuing our 700 mile 3 day trip on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 we ride through Fraserburgh, Peterhead to Cruden Bay taking in the seaside villages and towns of the Moray Coast including the amazing Plains Castle, Where Dracula was penned by Bram Stoker when he stayed at Cruden Bay!

Dracula's castle, now that's interesting. I read, eons ago, BS got inspiration from visiting Whitby Castle. The internet is awash with locations staking a similar claim, including Transylvania. But then again... I suppose if you got bat wings you can have many homes!

Mmm. Gotta do these roads next year. Getting too cold for me, now. The shivers in the evening has already begun 😢. Need to get a wee notebook and get map out and note , new area’s to ride, Bumble or Rebelene. Lovely seeing these roads, your Enfield just nails it.😊 Hopefully get to last Wee Smokie meet at Meadowbank Inn, north end of Arbroath on 15th.

I’m moving to eastern Scotland for the great weather ! Another nice tour about Bruce, watching with Monty the Labrador pup sleeping beside me while the Cumbrian rain pours down, do you use any product to keep the panniers looking good ? Cheers. Adrian

Ah ! a trip to the "Broch" as the natives call Fraserburgh :) Showing off yer turning circle again :) And crossing the Brig o Don at the end, my old commute into Aberdeen down King street and on to to Torry :) Happy days :)

Wonderful images of Scotland. Ime in AUS and half my ancestors were Scot’s . My health prevents me long distance travel sadly so I will never get to see it in person , so your vision is much appreciated. I also love your accent , although I can only understand half of what you say.😂. Keep up the good work

Enjoying this tour Bruce interesting to note how much later the harvest is the further north you go .And how good are those roads ! far better by far than the roads in my neck of the woods Grimsby and rural Lincolnshire.

Great video Bruce. Your bike really does sound sweet. My Signals 350 is now on 1250 miles and getting smoother all the time ........ have you found that yours improved as the miles increased?

Hi Trev they deft take a couple of thousand miles to fully run in. since 6000 miles there has been a settle down of management lights making an odd appearance and that’s probably stopped after removing all the excess grease on relays and connectors, it’s been faultless since😁👍

I've replaced all my relays with Bosch. Had zero issues. Lovely bikes. Marsh Grey rocks!

What kind of gas mileage does your classic get with all the gear?

Hi Jack it never seems to drop below 90 mpg, I find using E5 more cost effective as better mpg but the bike also runs fine on E10, I cannot confirm if the Fuel X I fitted contributes to this or not but it’s cerinaly running good 👍

My wife and I enjoy the ride from Ardross to Fraserburgh, either along the coast and back through the hills or the other way round. We always stop at the Museum of Scottish Lighthouses for homemade soup and a coffee. We haven't done it for a few years though so I don't know if the soup and coffee is still as good as it was. Open all year as far as I know and worth a visit. It was free to go in, wander round and go to the café, I think you only have to pay if you want the guided tour,
