East Lothian is absolutely delightful in summer…. It really seems to be the garden of Scotland….. I’ve really lucky to have come and get to know the area quite well and visit quite often from North Wales…. Really feels like home from home.

Like you I love to see the harvest. A lot of folks these days take the view that the tractors and combines are a nuisance that get in their way while driving., but the simple fact is that grain is our food for the next 12 months and if it fails we either pay inflated prices for imports or starve.

Hi i agree it is a short few weeks of farm traffic for an important part of our economy 👍 i love seeing the combines out on the country roads as they rule the roost and slow down the city commuters! 😜🤣😁👍👍

Well done Bruce , good ride and did not get wet, out on my hunter on Sunday afternoon and it jus gets better, did about 50 miles and it’s got 1400 mls now really good fun on the back roads along the nw coast, take care NW biker dude alias bay Bimbler,Ted

Thanks for sharing that ride out. The fields this time of year are truly a magnificent colour. I was out riding the same day as you around Ford and Etal then I crossed the Tweed and visited Paxton. There was certainly a lot of farm machinery that day. They can only be described as massive machines. Like you I pull over give them a wave as they go buy. Our 350s are perfect for the roads we ride and we are so lucky to ride fantastic empty roads. Thanks again Carl.👍

Always nice to ride along. 🙂 Heat wave over here. 38C with humidex for 2 weeks and counting.🤤 Local harvest here means potatoes and corn. Prairies provinces provide grains. Is definitely a special time of year. Looking forward to some airiels. 👍 🥃

You are so lucky to live in the country side, all that fresh air from the pigs.And you are doubly right about spilt grain being dangerous to bikes. I nealy came a cropper (pun intended 😄) as my wheels rolled across a heap on a bend in the road. Take care and keep these vlogs coming.

Great Bruce, the bike sounds alive again with the 15T sprocket on, you can hear it's much happier. I think i'm stuck being over-geared on mine! 4:04 a mouse runs across the road 🤪 He was lucky to not get squished
