Nice review! I bought my RE Continental 650 last summer and it's finally getting warm enough in Idaho to start riding again. Number one thing to do: replace the mufflers with aftermarket ones to add a few HP, lose about 10 kilo in weight, and get a badass sound. Get used to the looks you'll get and enjoy folks coming up and talking with you about the bike!

I've had my 2021 Gt for a month now. Its been flawless. Not sure what you consider 'heavy", but to a 420 lb bike is light to me. I guess I got used to touring bikes. I love this thing. Light handling, responsive and lively smooth motor, great suspension and brakes and the nest clutch & gearbox I have had the pleasure to own. Just a great all around machine!

Nice review. RE is not a UK brand anymore. Its Indian now but with a UK heritage. Madras motor company bought RE in the 1960s.

I bought a 2019 Mr Clean last summer. Lighter noisy pipes, HH pads, Stratos filter and plate, Hitchcock booster plug. Next step is to fettle the front forks to suit me because they're crude as standard. The back end is ok for me. Only thing I don't like is my 55 year old hips and that's no fault of the bike. I could do with the footrests being two inches more forward and down more like the Interceptor. The clip ons are no problem over any distance. My advice to anyone thinking of buying one is to completely forget the numbers on the sheet of paper. They don't give the right picture. Go and ride it and unless you're unsatisfied lapping the IoM at 120+ you'll find it unlacking and most satisfying on the public road.
