@@mrgrumpy. thank you, I'm really looking forward to when I've got around 1200km on the clock, then I think she will perform like a totally different bike, its always difficult to get out over the winter months here what with the rain and the muddy roads, I intended to get out for a ride today, but its rained all day long, here's hoping for some dry days, take care ......colin 😀

Too much to do today to go out for a ride on Genie. Been chopping and stacking wood now that the weather's started t turn. Still not as cold as up your way but heading that way. But enjoyed going out with you round the coast whilst I was in the kitchen making a huge pot of butternut squash soup - the wife's incoming so I've got to look lively! Anyway, the Guerrilla looks like a lovely, fun bike. Glad you got it run in now and got the service spanner to stop flashing (I had to find out how to do it on KZbin). I'm not tempted though, but I am tempted to get a Himalayan 450 but that's a bit silly having a 410 in the garage. The new 650 Twin looks nice... Decisions, decisions. Thanks for the run out, does the cockles good to go out with somebody, even if it's only on KZbin! TTFN 😉🤪

Hi, good to hear from you, butternut squash soup, delicious, one good thing about the winter season is all the good food that comes with it, we've been doing the same thing, stacking and chopping wood, it's a must, but to be fair it's not that biting cold yet, although I'm sure it's making its way down from the north, the bikes running great, what a difference a few kilometres makes, Royal Enfield are certainly bringing out some cracking bikes, I know what you mean about the Himalayan, I love my 411, and as I said I the video, it really is a pleasure to ride, it may take a bike longer, but that's all part of the fun, take care and join me, weather permitting on the next ride ...... Colin ☺️

Hi, yes they are a good looking bike, as are all the royal enfiels, your right how they maintain the retro classic look, but with just enough modern technology to make them work extremely well, your so lucky to have a dealer so close to you, the nearest one to me is 2 hrs away, you'll love it, when you take one out for a test ride, but your trusty Honda is a nice bike, I hope you have some lovely Italian sunshine this weekend, take care ..... Colin ☺️

Beautifully manicured roundabout you just went round Colin looked like an ornamental garden 😊 impressive. 5-6 years ago when the french introduced the new speed limits, and mobile camera cars etc, they said if it saved 300-350 lives a year it would be a great success, and it turned out they managed that in the first 3 months, 😮 mind the days of me flying about like an idiot I think are long gone 😊😊😊😊, that sea is mill pond smooth nearly lovely bit of coast in your bit Colin, one thing I notice your guerilla sounds almost just like the Himmie just picks up quicker. …. The French like there roundabouts 😅, your right the bike sounds a lot like the himi, just a bit deeper, I'm like you, speed these days doesn't matter, what does is enjoying the ride, we have some beautiful coast around here and I never get fed up of riding around it, take care ...... Colin ☺️

Nice ride out Colin ...hopefully the clock thing gets sorted .the winter cold might cause your pain to worsen.. aftermarket shocks in the future maybe 🤔 😊

Morning Harry, hopefully they will, yes this cold weather makes everything that bit more painful 😣, roll on summer 🏝️🌞, minus the rain ☔, I'm hoping the shocks will soften up, should do with me compressing them 😂, thanks for watching, take care Colin 😊

Hi, just wondering if UK service intervals are different to yours as the manual (here in Scotland), states that after the first 312mls (500km) service the next is indeed 12 months/6,000mls or 10,000km). That would mean the info on the clocks on your bike are correct. Might be worth checking out the owners manual. Enjoying my Guerrilla tho the frost and gritter waggons are not helping ! Liking your videos, keep up the good work 👍

Hi, thanks for watching, and thank you for the information, I must check this, when I picked the bike up the dealer hadn't got any owner manuals 😮, I will look into this, you would of thought the dealer would of picked it up 🫣, they are a great bike that's for sure, take care ....... Colin ☺️

Hi Colin, as mentioned in a previous comment (below), after the first service (500 Km) the next one is 10,000 Km so your display was correct. The older Royal Enfields including the Hunter, I had, specified an interim service at 5,000 Km but they changed the intervals recently and I think that includes the new Shotgun, it should all be in your 'Owner's Manual'. So, sit back and enjoy the next 9,500 Kms and that extra 2,000 rpm 😁👍 I did my own first service and that 'Service Overdue' message comes up every time I start up but it does disappear when I push the toggle button to the left to show 'Trip A' etc. Incidentally, how do you switch that message off? All the best, Phil (Somerset)
@droneon296 күн бұрын
Hi Phil, what threw me was when I left the dealership they said ok see you in 5000km or 6 months, but I have today spoken with them and yes, it's 10,000 or 365 days, so as you say, I've loads of time to enjoy my extra power, now to reset the service, put the bike in 6th gear, turn on the ignition, bring the service up on the screen and push the joystick to the left hold there till it resets, thanks for watching, take care ...... Colin ☺️

I hate boxes on bikes they can alter the handling and act like a parachute much better with a tankbag😊
@droneon296 күн бұрын
Morning, I'm with you on certain bikes, and this isn't the bike in my opinion to fit a top box, but with a rack you can carry a decent sized roll bag or tail pack, I'm not really into tank bags, I tried my magnetic one I use on the meteor, but it didn't sit right, im just a fussy old bugger😂, thanks for watching, take care Colin ☺️

Sorry Sir, is the clutch lever light. I guess it is since it’s assist/slipper (isn’t it?) but it’s really critical for me because I have a bit of an issue with my left wrist….
@droneon295 күн бұрын
Hello, and thanks for watching, yes the clutch lever is very light on this model, I have arthritis in my fingers and wrist, so like you, sometimes, especially when the weather turns cold it can be painful, but no problems with this one, I hope that helps, take care ........ Colin 😊
@carlodefilippi69145 күн бұрын
@ excellent! Besides is a good looking classy bike with a pinch of modern take that I really appreciate. There’s a Royal Enfield dealer ten minutes on foot from my place so the temptation is strong but I guess I’ll have to wait a couple of months in the meantime I’ll still enjoy my always good Honda CRF 250 L. Greetings from Italy.

Do you traded in your transalp for this? How it feels? Is it better for you?
@droneon296 күн бұрын
Hi, no I sold my Transalp to a friend of mine, it had been with me for over 15 years and I just felt like it was time for a change, I liked the look of the Guerrilla and after test riding it I decided to buy one, they are a really good bike, very easy to ride and manoeuvre, the 450 sherpa engine is superb with plenty of power, all in all, a great little bike, thanks for watching .........colin 😀
