Morning Mark, I had the easy opinion as neither valve as you saw needed to be adjusted, but so important to check, just a couple of more jobs then it's already for the spring 🌼🌱, take care mate ....... Colin ☺️

You have been busy with videos this week :-) I need to do about 500km then I will do mine. I have read that it's better to have them tight as if loose you can get excessive wear on valve stem. The other trick I have read about is with the spark plug removed and bike put in gear you can rotate back wheel in correct direction to align the T mark.

It's the joy of living in the rainiest part of France, so I might as well get the bikes sorted just in case we have a summer 😂, a tight tappet is a direct route to a burnt out valve, you know the saying a healthy tappet is a ticking tappet, only not too loose though, I always remove the plug as to make it easier to turn, you can use the rear wheel, but a bit difficult to see the mark when your on your own, unless you've got stretchy arms 😂😂.......Colin 😊
