I've been told to reset the ecu, start and leave idling for 15 mins. Thanks for the video, enjoyed watching 👍 and happy New year to you and the Mrs

I installed a "PoweRage SS silencer with header bend pipe" shipped from India via eBay. Very nice quality, relatively low price, and fast shipping, and the pipe has a very sturdy center stand stop as well as a vertical brace welded to it. The muffler is stainless and the same length as the OEM. It has a removeable dB killer. With the dB killer installed it is a bit louder and deeper than either of the bikes in your video - but not too loud, IMO. Total weight savings 5 lb. I might have removed the center stand as mynxl did if I'd thought of it. 😁

That’s sound good, there’s a few good choices out there. I’m not sure if the centre stand will become a problem now, I not riden it since the install.

Interesting idea. When you temporarily reinstall the stand do you bother with connecting the springs? That's usually the hardest part.
@thatbikersimon17 күн бұрын
The centre stand does add some serious weight to the bike, and it not well balanced. It’s a question of if you don’t need it remove it. 👍
@mynxl17 күн бұрын
@crystalpipic772 Springs are not needed if just servicing the bike. Make sure to put the split pins in the pivots or risk the pivot pins falling out when lifting. Been there done that.
@crystalpipic77217 күн бұрын
@@mynxl Looks like I'd have to remove the link pipe to remove the right side pivot pin because there's not enough clearance to pull it all the way out. But it looks like to temporarily reinstall the stand that pin could be put in from the other direction so the pipe wouldn't have to be removed to get it out.

The resonator box has bumpers on the bottom and when you remove it the center stand is hanging free. Although in the video it kind of looked like the foot of the stand on the right side is touching the muffler. Your friend's bike looks like it had the center stand removed. Thanks for taking the time to do the video.
