Wot... Didn't get on with a Hunter 🙄😂-I wonder what he didn't like especially? . Yes I found that filming the fitting of the crankcase shield as I call it, on my own was very difficult so I just filmed what you get with it and how it fits together. I had to lay down on my back - and did that twice as I have them on both Hunters. Getting up again was the problem 🤣 When I had to remove one for the oil change, having the skylift made it so easy. Good to hear you're enjoying your Hunter.

Hello Peter, ‘crankcase shield’ is definitely a better description. I fitted the engine bars and crankcase shield in the wrong sequence, so had to remove some of the engine bar fixings / spacers to fit the shield (school boy) error but in my defence the fitting instructions aren’t the best 🙂 I know that feeling about getting up when I’ve been down on the ground, certainly more involved in the planning and execution of. 😂 It was sad to see Joe’s Hunter go but he wants a little more power and torque so went for the Triumph Trident 660. Paul and me never miss an opportunity to inform him of the error of his ways 😂😂

@@MerciaMoto Oh silly Joe. He'll regret it 😂. As you remark in this one, you really don't need that sort of power to get a lot of fun out of riding. In fact it's an asset as you're not arriving anywhere too quickly. Still, to each their own. Just watched Exeter Rider's assessment of the Hunter he had for a while. It's definitely a bike that appeals to both new riders and very experienced ones alike. Enjoy your evening Dave

@@blearyview2254 I know Alex. Inconceivable is that... 😂😂 They're not for everyone; after all, you've yet to sample the delights. And I've not been tempted down the Classic Reborn road either, though I quite like the look of the new Bullet. Prefer it if it had with a shiny engine though - seems out of keeping with the Classic look somehow. Pretty manky weather here at present too but we keep cheerful 😂

@@MerciaMoto well let’s say it wasn’t quite as easy as the instructions suggested. Worst bit was the front plate nut cunningly blocked by the exhaust! That aside, just found your channel today and it’s good.

I fitted engine bars and the sump guard on the same day, the engine bar instructions took some deciphering and once the bars were fitted I discovered the bolt and spacers needed to be removed to fit the front sump guard bracket. The joys aye? 😂

How ya doin ABD, I’m lovin the Hunter, can ya tell 😂😂 yeah I’m not in any rush getting the running in done, 300 mile service was done this week so need to focus on getting the Speed Twin up to 600 miles and its first service. Next episode of Swiss tour out tomorrow, it’s definitely one to do, incredible place. Granddaughter liked the Which Witch is Which joke mate it made her laugh ! 😁 Keep an eye out for next weeks video I reckon you might like it 😁 👍🏻
