@@MrLeoZombie I’m pleased you enjoyed the video, Leo. Unfortunately, I haven’t kept the parts list for the tank components. But, you will at least need an in-tank fuel gauge sender unit and a fuel pump. If you have a Royal Enfield dealer in your area you could possibly get the spare parts guys to help you identify the parts needed. Hopefully, they might be able to help. However, I do remember the extra parts weren’t cheap. Cheers, Len

I got a mk 3 tank of eBay & it was a shocker looked liked it had been buffed to much & was a reject. I recommend people to get one off a reputable seller.You were lucky or I was unlucky.I ended up just using the Silver Spectre that came with bike.Gt does has a smaller tank by 1.2 liters & I too researched this & discovered that you needed a Gt fuel sender to use a Gt tank.I would recommend leaving 2.5-3Liters in tank when you full up too to prevent fuel sender sticking or even bending & if it does hold front brake in & jump up & down on forks should loosen stuck fuel sender which won't move needle on fuel gauge.Also you have reduced range with smaller tank & bigger motor so make sure not to run to low.Running low also sucks up sludge into fuel pump which are sensitive to sludge,grit etc.

In Australia i like to keep the litres in the tank. You lost a few doing this tank change. When i found out the bread boxers had a smaller fuel capacity i chenged my mind.

Hi, Mark. Both the tail light and indicators came from Third Gear accessories in Australia. I used the original tail light base and fitted the new tail light to that. However, I did have to make up a tapered wedge to fit between the base and the new light housing in order to get the face of the lense to sit vertical and not be angled upward. Wiring was a relatively simple affair in cutting and joining wires. It was time consuming, but considering it was all done during Covid lockdown, it kept me busy. I hope this helps. Hi, Myk. Thanks for the compliment. I bought the tank strap on eBay. They’re made in Thailand, but are not always available. I’ve only seen them for sale a couple of times - and they are expensive. Search for ‘Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Tank Strap’ and you might find one when they come up for sale. Cheers, Len

Hi, Aswin Thanks for watching. The bars are Rizoma brand. I bought them many years ago for a Ducati I owned at the time. I had them, along with quite a few other bars I bought for various bikes over the years. I tried three different sets before settling on the Rizoma - they’re perfect for me on this bike. If you go to the Rizoma website - Handle Bars - Handlebar Set - Handlebar, I’m pretty sure the bars that are simply called ‘Handlebar’ are the set I bought. They’re excellent quality and come in different colours. I hope this helps. Cheers, Len

Hi, Ed Thanks for the compliment. I had the stickers made by the guy who does my paintwork. I drew up the design, content, fonts and colours I wanted and showed him a sample of the original 650 decal. From there he assembled it on the program he uses and printed them out. He stripped and repainted the side covers and applied the decals with a clear coat on top. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Len

Hi, one crazy wheel. The header pipes are Verex and the silencers are S&S - highly recommended. They have such a great sound especially with the hi comp pistons. Thanks for watching. Cheers, Len

Hi Steve, riding isn’t just about speed, it’s the torque and the feel of the motor as it pulls up the climb - the sound at low revs is so unique. So much fun can be had at legal speeds. I live in mountains with lots of steep twisting local roads and lots of 60kph speed limits - the bike was taken to 865 for the torque. Did you view my comparison video with a high comp RE 650? There you can see the dyno results. Oh, and I’m not going to record myself speeding. Cheers, Len
