We like the Black. Should look even better if you manage to coat the wheels and spokes in a similar shade. That's Anjuna in Goa. There's a decent amount of surf but won't excite someone with a board :)

Great review as usual. Thank you for sharing the post! Had a chance to sit on the bike today, I feel that the foot pegs felt wide and is blocks / fouls while placing the foot on the ground. And I’m 5.4 feet, happy that I can comfortably place 1 foot completely and little toeing on the other side with flat set of shoes. Waiting for Jawa though due to lower seat height.

Could you please comment on Air-Oil cooling used for interceptor? Will it be sufficient for engine heat for long duration of rides? The dominar usage liquid cooling technique. Is it related to engine revolutions?

Yes, it's related to the engine speed too. Since this RE doesn't have a very high revving engine, it can do with air / oil cooling. It runs fine, doesn't heat up

- This chassis has no connection with any of the RE 350 or 500 models. It is closely related to the GT 535 which featured chassis designed by Harris performance. The chrome on the indicators will not come off. The Indicators are the same as on the GT 535 and I have had the GT for 5 years and can attest to it.

Great review as usual. One question though, I am confused between Interceptor and Dominar Bs6, my height is 5'11 and my weight is 106 kgs and my wife would be around 60 kgs and 5'8. I enjoy riding a fast bike, but I don't usually tour more than 200 kms. And most of the time I would be riding with a pillion, and sometimes alone. Mainly my rides will comprise of 60 percent city and 40 percent Highway. I am loving both the bikes but really confused which will be a better buy for me. Any suggestions?

@@IronmanUKI I would say better fuel economy, better tank capacity, tubeless tyres while being 30kgs lighter and with a lower seat height of 780mm. To top it all, the R3 has better engineering when going at high speeds because of its aerodynamics and refinement. The major advantage the Continental GT has over the R3 is with the presence of slipper clutch. And if offroading then the spoke wheels feel better.

Looks great. Has all attributes of a classic. I just hope RE pays more attention on the quality of materials and electronics. After sales service department needs to be pepped up too. A v imp point to be considered for ownership. This machine certainly looks very promising.

@Motoroids, Amit, Detailed review but personally I felt that it was more of a static review in that no dynamics of the bike were covered, such as acceleration, in-gear acceleration, braking, handling/suspension, cornering etc. given that you mentioned spending 1 full day with the bike. Yes, you did mention some of these such as the bike is capable of 180 kmph..but it appeared more of a fleeting mention; just my observations no criticism...

The reason RE chose to launch in California was to convey they have learned their lesson and this time they have got it right. They have trash tested this bike around the world by international riders who have ridden other bikes. In India reviews the comparison is with other RE's. International review compare it with Triumph which is at twice the price point. Now if you argue our roads are different, I will ask you - Haven't you lusted after the Harley or triumph, now who knows Indian roads better than RE.

@@motoroids seriously speaking even i didn't find a single con in the interceptor when i test rode it. the GT version yes i found the biggest con- it isnt meant for long rides. my wrists began to ache and butt ached on the hard stone like seat and due to the sitting position the clutch lever setup near the engine kept brushing my leg when i put my foot down which didn't happen in the interceptor. but the bikes are the best in their class 👌🏼❤️ fell in love with the interceptor as i rode it.
