I'm from 2050, electric bikes now come equipped with speakers that mimic the nostalgic sound of traditional petrol engine motorcycles. Those born between 2000-2020 have begun to express a desire to bring back petrol bikes, missing the evocative exhaust noise and the thrill of manual gear shifting. We humbly request that anyone who still cherishes petrol bikes be our beacon in this world dominated by EVs, just as Chris Konings is remembered for his passion. With love from India! 🤌

Nice video! Now that fire season in California is all 12 months it seems crazy to just leave it burning! Do you rent from the landowner or are they just friends? I used to stay at the Yobug hostel when I visited Yosemite. I like this better! Now I’m 2000 miles east of there so I won’t be visiting any time soon.
@ChrisKonings2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I was surprised, I use Hipcamp and there’s pretty clear guidance on fire making and rules. I like it because you get to know the land owners and typically people who use Hipcamp respect everyone’s privacy/experience :)

Is it common to leave the fire burning in dry forest? 😅 Seems kinda stupid. Otherwise brilliant video. I'd love to try the tent with my own int650 one day. Which mirror and indicators are you using?
@ChrisKonings2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I was surprised it was still going, thankfully the land owners come by to check up on the sites regularly, in my case I let them know and just took advantage of the embers for my own fire - thanks very much, camping with the Int650 is a real pleasure. I the mirrors are by BAAK and indicators are by MotoGadget (M-Blaze I believe)

hi Chris how is the bike treating you? I mean seat comfort, fuel consumpution, rider endurance (riding miles without a windscreen) travel conditions (bags) i am new in long distance riding. ps. sorry for my grammatics, i am a foreigner.
@ChrisKonings2 жыл бұрын
I love it, I've put over 10K miles on it and it's never let me down, I especially enjoy working on it and customizing it, it's so simple and easy to learn - I feel like it's good for long distance riding but I'm okay with some rough riding every-now-and-then, especially since it's a naked bike you're gonna feel the wind.

Do you prefer one tent over the other - Toucan vs Goose?
@ChrisKonings Жыл бұрын
It depends on what you’re using it for to be honest, if you have the right size of motorcycle to carry the Toucan then it gives you a good amount of extra space and is handy for bringing a pillion along for a camping trip. The Goose is more compact and great for solo trips but wouldn’t recommend for couples.
