I've enjoyed your Inty series a lot. I like your delivery and sense of old school ethics. I agree with you about folk not watching your videos on how to, the comments/questions are already answered if they can be bothered to watch. Sorry to hear the bad news re your back. Hopefully you can continue to ride something. ATB and Merry Christmas

Lovely work mate. I'm pretty AR with attention to detail as well. Great result with the exhaust mods and fitment. Well done. Sounds sweet. I bought the same CAT looking inserts for my Bobber which has Cone Engineering slip-ons from the US on it. Didn't change the sound but definitely took off some sharpness and marginally reduced the volume.

It's looking good Ian. Definitely needs some effective baffles. As you age, you just have to keep downsizing. I'm down to 2x Enfield 350s and my weapon for choice locally is a Honda Grom. Buckets of fun. Lots of things to modify and 300km on 6,5 litres of petrol.

Hello Ian, your interceptor is looking very smart and tidy, excellent job. As for your comment about doing it yourself being tight, that's not the case at all, you do it yourself to make sure the job is done properly ! 😊 As for your Himalayan I've spotted in a few videos from others that Hitchcocks do a rear suspension lowering bracket which reduces the seat height and seems to be very popular with shorter riders, perhaps it might help for you getting on and off of yours so might be worth a look, not sure if it'll affect the ride quality though.

Great series on your Interceptor and I love all the improvements you made and the details you went into with your vlog video - I followed you as I had a 2022 INT and wanted to know more about the bike - I just sold mine as I realized I preferred my 650 Vstrom and am on the hunt now for a replacement Vstrom lightly used garage queen - nevertheless I enjoyed your vlogs and will continue my subscription as I find your content very educational and as a 76 year old biker I can never know it all so the helps I hope you are well and stay well as I’ve been following your downtimes with concern And as always Regards from Florida 🦩🦩🦩🦩

An interesting look you've gone for there Ian, I really like the exhaust system. I've used the starter button trick on several bikes I've wired from scratch, all the brown accessories are a bit to bike shed for me but it's your bike & they certainly contribute to the overall look your going for. I would be very interested to see how well the led headlight works in the dark, I would consider one on the function over form basis as I don't like the look of them. I've always thought RE dropped a ball not colour coding the side panels, if I wanted an interceptor it would have to be the canyon red model with black wheels & scorpion pipes.

Great job! I have a spine issue as well. The sprung seat of my classic 500 has been great. I am really interested in the int650. My concern would be how much the seat affects your back? Does it hit hard when going over mild bumps? Did your back fair better with original bar height? As you have a slight lean forward.
@iantoy777812 күн бұрын
I have just put some taller adjustable risers on that bring the bars up and back to me but it seems to be worse.if I hit a bump it sends shooting pain up my spine. I might try putting back to standard so I lean forward to see how it is. I have been diagnosed with spondylitis so the out look is not great. Thanks ian

Nice one, or three... Love the new RE bikes, not had one for a while, my Harlie was sold to pay for work on our home near Balchik. Only a 30inch leg so need a low seat but like the new himalayan, i guess its too tall for me.
@iantoy77789 күн бұрын
@@G6HOQ certainly be different for you a Himalayan. Yes the new ones are top heavy. My Himalayan 411 is going to be for sale as I have been diagnosed with spondylitis. If you check out my videos you will see it is well sorted if it interest's you.

Hi Ian I'm looking at the interceptor but every time I get on the bike and place my feet on the floor I always bang my ankle, I've looked online to see if I can get foot peg readjustment plate or something like that, what would you suggest. I like what you have done to your interceptor and that's one reason why I'm looking to get one in the new year, but this is the only issue I find with the interceptor for me. Kind regards Kev

Not sure about that seat 😮 but to be fair it's the only thing on an interceptor I really can't stand , awful things as standard, like a friggin ironing board but less comfortable 😂😂😂
