They are now searching the tappet gauge and PDC top adjustment

After owning the RE Meteor 350 for one year, here's my review: I am getting a mileage of around 32-38Km. Pros: 1. The bike is comfortable for long rides. 2. The ground clearance is sufficient for touring, as long as you ride like touring bike😊 Cons: 1. The chain requires frequent maintenance. 2.The engine tapping noise is annoying😒 and cannot be completely fixed, regardless of adjustments made.

Hi sir, I just bought supernova brown I have completed just 196 km, I have doughts 1) how to know do our bike has tappet noise issue without visiting to the service station 2) I had done 15 km at 40-50 kmph and start noticing some metalic noise like shock up does but could figured it out 3) does engine change exaust after 25km of ride in traffic? I felt something like it. I might be extra cautious here 4) I filled fuel 15ltrs and now noticing fuel pump keep running always, I can hear a same noise as when we just turn on the self start button. When give it a self pump kick in for few seconds and when bike get start still I can hear a pump noise I asked showroom guy to check he said you have just completed 96km we will check on 1st service.

Pum should run continues for the bike to run, the issue is that pump noise it's a little loud. If pump stops running yous bike won't start

Tappet noise increased after 1st servicing. Own CLASSIC 350 reborn. Only arnd 772 km done and the tappet noise is very irritating. It was better before 1st servicing.

In my 1st service they asked me to adjust the tapet but I didn't feel any requirement of that but one surprising thing is they told me that I would have to pay Rs 600 to change the gasket where the price of gasket is only Rs 300 on that time . It means they wanted me to pay Rs 300 extra for tappet adjustment. Please tell me did you pay extra for tappet adjustment or you paid only the price of gasket?

Gasket price is RS 370 only and they cannot over charge you and tappet adjustment is free and mandatory in the 1st service.

I got new meteor 350 today. During cold start i don't hear any tick tick sound. After I ran - 20-30 km in city. I can hear tick tick sound getting higher.i mean when engine heat up the sound is more.when cold not getting such sound

Brother earlier the tappet was not smooth and bike after 10-15 km ride was rough , but after the setting the tappet is very smooth in the valve guide and you can feel the sound softness here.

Gap gauge use kiya hai 0.18mm bolra hai mene last week mera ghadi classic reborn tapped setting ko ho log bola ki gap should be 0.045mm.

Tbh, tappet noise is normal for RE. It will ALWAYS be there. Even after readjustment, tappet noise will slowly get louder with time and couple hundred kms.

1 Yes woh 400 RS wahi gasket ke charges hi hain 2 v300 hi dala hai but manager requested not to display hence woh part muted hai dost. 3 I got a consumable charges of Rs 120 jisme maine additional bond wagerah lagvaya tha isse koi leakage na ho kahin pe bho oil ki . 4 500 km and 1.75 months as mere yahan pe lockdown tha . 5 Ispe ek poora video banaooga jald hi with full details . 6 a video on it also coming soon order kar rakha hai waiting for dispatch from factory.

no since tappets are at the highest point of the engine and the engine barely has an inch and a half of oil settled at the bottom there is no need to change the oil.

That's used to check the piston is in TDC - Top Dead Centre, it makes sure the piston is in the correct position before tappet adjustment. Tappet adjustment is not a simple thing, as shown in this video. It's a very crucial part during combustion, poor tappet settings may result in a lot of issues!

Bhai BDC means Bottom Dead Centre which means position of the piston is at the bottom of the cylinder and TDC means Top Dead Centre which means piston is at the top position of cylinder! Aap bol he galat rahe ho TDC ko to aap BDC bol rahe ho

@@avikpodder6267 have u got the tappet clearance adjustment done..I think these guys don't do it correctly..there might be an excessive gap left in the clearance of the exhaust tappet..which causes the noise further due to metal expansion..i visited 3 different service centers but no solution has been provided yet..in my case they checked the oil supply up till the rockers and they said it was good..
