Royal enfield reinforced the frame so that it would be capable of touringaand carrying luggage. Having a high exhaust might be an obstacle in serving that purpose.

You mean you can't tour and take the luggage on older interceptors? ;) interesting

That muffler looks good and sounds pretty darn good for stock.

The aftermarket will design a high exhaust. Same goes for the suspension- someone will add 30mm or so.

"A street bike that is ready for some gravel roads" is the definition of a scrambler. It is not an enduro.

1. There's no definition of scrambler, we bikers create it 2. If there would be any, it would rather be "road bike, off road capable", not gravel...

I see it more as a modern classic ADV/travel-bike. The one thing I don't like is that huge catalytic converter underneath. There isn't even a centerstand due to that ugly metal box. That's a bummer. The 249 appeals to me the most. I would probably add a white high mudguard in front.

1. yes, more or less why I got Urban GS. 2. true, but sign of times. I would replace that whole exhaust anyway if that would be my bike 3. fact, but centre stand doesn't work well off road. 4. I don't like teal frame but other than that look at p.1 :)

In short, as long as you don't call it a scrambler, it's okay? :)

I think it would be fair just to keep the name interceptor, however the muffler is still ugly and need replacment ;)

I didn't even see this muffler in the previous video, so I wasn't paying attention ))
