I cleaned my Meteor's chain with Kawasaki Chain Cleaner and applied two layers of Kawasaki Super Ceramic Chain Lube. After a month, I noticed some rust on the sprocket, so I sprayed another layer. Now, after four months and 1500 km, the lube is still white and protecting the sprocket, even after washing the bike nearly three times.

Did 19k kms on stock chain and still going, until 13k km we need to clean and lube every 400-500 km, after 13k km every 250-300 km and whenever chain gets wet make sure to lube it doesn't matter when it was lubed before. Make sure u open the front sprocket cover at least every 600 km and clean it.

I have been following the same approach to clean and lube my chain on 390 adventure every 500 kms without a miss. My current chain set has done 22 kms and the svc people say it can go for another 2k kms.

Cheapest way ....clean the chain in diesel with pressure wash and wipe and chain lube in evening time hold it a full night to stick proper lube on Chain try it is best for smooth ride and gear shifting
