Bloody disgusting tribute to an Irish Regiment which has southern Irish lads in it..' No Surrender ' what an insult not just to the traditions of an Irish regiment with so much honour, earned through the sacrifice of men from north and south who fought in its ranks but also from those Irish who support the regiment without such shit going on..i shall be reporting this to the royal Irish regiment and the MOD...

Why? Because of the Red hand of Ulster? Nothing wrong with it. The lads from the south hang up the tri - colour no problem with that either. And as for the No surrender it has been used by soldiers from Ireland since world war one maybe even earlier. You are blowing this out of proportion.

steve murtagh your just showing your bigotry and ignorance. No surrender has been a battle cry for soldiers from the province since 17th century. And I notice your not complaining about the regiments saying "faugh a Ballagh" . Some could choose to take offence to that seeing as it's Celtic language being used for a British army regiment. But no one does. And talking of people from the republic being in the regiment? I'm sure they hear a lot worse from their hometowns for joining the British army. ..............your just being a dick
