Royal Jordanian before Covid provided the Bangkok(SVB) route to KLIA, then KLIA to SVB before the direct flight to Amman, Queen Alia IA. The cabin crew for the BKK-KUL are all Thais except the purser, Captain and First Officer. Flight was 22.30 from KUL and then for the Bangkok bound passengers, we all disembark at SVB, leaving those bound to Amman to remain. All the crew members will then be replaced by another group waiting at the departure gate. Flight time was 1hr and 55 minutes. It was a short but great flight, food served was nice and the IFE was just the same that you described it. RJ also operated a BKk-HKG flight too. With RJ resuming flights from Amman to Bangkok this year and being a member of One World alliance, the route will again include the SVB - KUL-SVB- Amman route. The Thai crew members were always quick to attend to the passengers on board the short flight from KUL to SVB and hope that they will be back to KUL again.

I hope that means that it will ship from somewhere within the EU and that I won't have to pay any duty. I'll find out when it arrives. I had also been looking at Briggs & Riley, but they're more than twice the price, priced in British Pounds and shipped from the U.K. Not for me. Oh, and I enjoy your videos. RJ does have a beautiful livery. Does seem like a decent airline if you can get a good fare or mileage redemption. I vaguely remember they had some 5th freedom flights out of BKK. I may check out that luggage company. For me i prefer carry on cases with 2 wheels. I saw one advertised, which looks perfect for me but even with the discount i won't be in a hurry to buy it. Especially since I don't travel enough to spend that kind of money. Plus the one i have works fine.
@tfft10 ай бұрын
Yeah apparantly they used to have a 5th to KUL- not sure why they haven't considered relaunching that or nonstop to KUL- they could surely get the feed for it. As for carry on, I have a chronic rotator cuff injury from lugging 2 wheeled suitcases around- so regardless of brand, something I can 'push' instead of pull is always my number one priority.

Great review. I was waiting for you review to see how it compared to my recent experience. We flew ORD-AMM (originating in DEN) in business. After traveling around Jordan we flew regional business AMM- LCA RT. Our regional flights were flawless. The long haul, not so much. I booked RJ because I was mad at UA for bad food on an earlier Polaris flight from GIG to IAH. I kinda wish I had gone with UA, which for me says a lot. ORD Terminal 5 is a sh*t show. Avoid at all costs (except maybe on DL). RJ offers the Swissport Lounge which I already know is awful, so we avoided it. Boarding was one long line regardless of class of service. RJ long haul was not horrible, just 'forgettable' as you put it. I thought the food and soft product would make up for the dated seats, but I was wrong. A few things. We were in the first row with the bigger footwell (this is a must). The crew was nice, but robotic and not proactive. I struggled to get water and was pointed to my bottle of water when I asked for a glass (I like to save the bottle for waking up). We had trolley service for food, but were given small portions. I don't require a lot of food, but it seemed like they were saving it for some reason. Cabin was clean, but my big issue is that the bathrooms were not kept clean on either long haul flight. On the ORD-AMM flight the forward toilet got 'full' mid way through the flight. Not sure how this is possible? The large space in the rear of the business class cabin seemed to be where passengers from any cabin would walk and try to soothe crying babies. For the price we paid, I would not fly them again. Sorry for the lengthy rant. Thanks again for your reviews.

So sorry, but you’ve elected for monetary gain over unbiased opinion. So much noise over a suitcase, really? Ruined it for these two folks from Wisconsin .
@tfft10 ай бұрын
Well sorry two folks form Wisconsin, but KZbin is my full time business and businesses need to make money. Taking sponsorships from tangible products in no way shape or form has anything to do with my views of an airline or hotel which I pay out of pocket. Having sponsorships (from products, not airlines or hotels) is what actually allows this to be possible for the long term. Would you prefer I don't take a sponsorship from a suitcase that I actually use and then shut the channel down next month? There is a reason why there are very few channels on KZbin that don't accept any sort of compensation from Airlines and Hotels... becuase channels like that are not viable. The internet is chock full of hidden sponsorships which you likely watch every day without noticing- I know they're there becuase I get dozens of emails from the same companies I see in other creator's content on a monthly basis. You're penalizing someone for being transparent, which is silly. So, if you choose not to agree, then that's your perogative and I wish you well.

RJ has beautiful livery but, an awful hard and soft business class product. Onboard crew are worse than any American carriers.

I'm hearing very mixed experiences.

And that’s why there are subtitles published on every one of my videos in over 80 languages. If you don’t find yours there, I’m happy to add it.

too many ads and mentions of things irrelevant to the subject of the video, dislike

And here I thought the video creator was the one who decided what was relevant to the subject of the video! Silly me.

worst review ever. apparently you're being unfair to RJ since it's not a western airline. I have one thing to say to you: rags to riches ! what a joke

worst comment ever. apparently you’re being absurd in your assessment considering the vast majority of my very positive reviews are of non-western airlines. I have one thing to say to you: your attempt at race baiting is immature at best and shows you’re nothing more than an amateur troll ! what a joke
