Royal Mail have gone really bad. I recently had a parcel not delivered because they could not get an answer at my door. Unfortunately for them I have three cameras on the front of my house. No way did they attempt delivery.

Within the last 3 weeks I've had 3 parcels all royal mail early delivery to be signed for and each one was marked as delivered. With fake signatures then they either showed up later that day or the day after. Even at that they are still better than the other couriers. Last night an amazon driver was trying to break into my garage as he claimed the delivery instructions told him to. It's a horrific state of affairs and there no care to the parcels either, they usually look like they have been kicked around every warehouse on the way.

Hi Chammyman. thank you for your comment. i agree some of these companies are a disgrace, but i have never seen royal mail so obviously commit fraud like this before. the chances of it being an accident are slim as they scan a parcel at the door or when its in their possession at least. where they have thought they missed the delivery and panicked and faked a photo and signature to buy them time. it shouldnt be like that. my main worry was the stress they caused my buyers and if they hadnt updated the tracking info from the fraudulent signature they did i would never have been able to prove delivery and my buyers could have claimed against me.

Hi Walter hi everyone I’ve never had a problem with royal mail but I always send signed for or proof of delivery, I have started having problems with Evri so have stopped using them and thought I was safe with UPS as they have always been delivered but last week package marked as delivered but not in the Argos shop so it’s one if 2 things either not been delivered or Argos have lost it but was told a few weeks ago UPS London area are having issues with new routes. At the end of the day mail is sacred and we shouldn’t have have to pay extra for proof of delivery etc there should be a national outcry and stiff punishments and fines. I have a question for ya.. i have glass to send to ozzy tomorrow its mangmaese ita glows has low radiation .. i no its safe for a plane.. but buyer wanted ups witch want 30 pound postage buyers onlt paid 10.50 i was quoted with royal mail.. at 30 id make a loss.. shud i still send it or ask buyer to send more money for ahipping

Hi pinkysproductions. be very careful what every you decide to do. most customs destroy uranium glass now. yes it is harmless but it is not permitted in the mail and gets destroyed when scanned.

Royal mail are declining, they have started leaving parcels on my doorstep. They knock the door(they don't press the Ring doorbell to try and avoid being recorded, they still are recorded though!), wait 20 seconds, take a picture of the parcel on the doorstep and drive off. They also miss tracking scans at depot points, and ignore re-deliveries to Post offices....which I tried in order to avoid deliveries left on the doorstep. On a separate note, as an ebay seller, the delivery of an item always comes back to the seller, so make sure the postage compensation ALWAYS matches(with POP) the value of the item, especially for international shipping.

I have items that were supposed to be signed for being claimed they have been delivered by a postman while I was in. I managed to get hold of him and accused him of stealing my parcel - he said he hadn't touched it. The next day it turned up - pretty disgusting

They will refund postage in full - I've done it before for RMSD which was not delivered next day.

I waited in all day for Royal mail to collect a parcel. No one come. I then looked at the tracking and it falsely showed it had been collected. No one come the next day too so had to drop it off at post office. Now here is the joke bit, when I got home I found I had got charged an extra fee, for dropping it off at the post office. It costs more to drop it off yourself.

There has at least a breach of the data protection act. I would report the matter to the relevent authority. Data has to be relevent, accurate and necessary. The photographs you state should not be deletable from the data base. I.have had a dealing with Royal Mail over the nome delivery of a high value tablet computer, I can say they were totally fine with me. The delivery person was investigated and sacked.

We once sent a £400 painting from France to the UK. The Royal Mail delivery guy tossd it on top of the bins on bin day. He didn't bother to knock, leave it on the doorstep or even try. The bins were picked up minutes later and dumped the package in with the trash. The buyer was at home waiting. If she hadn't checked her door cam we would never have known. Last in a long list of problems with Royal mail so we no longer send to the UK. Absolute joke. You should have a full refund and an explanation and apology at the very least. Good luck 😺

royal mail use alot of agency workers and alot of them dont know what they are doing i should know i was one of them. they give you this hand held computer and dont give any formal training on how to use the bloody thing i had to wing it most of the time

Problems all last week them. Opposite problem . They not signing parcels off to customers when delived again . One 1st class parcel missing for nearly 2 weeks. And another today was supposed to redeliver for customer waiting . Never showed up tracking not moved. Customers fed up. Platforms are fed up but if you use others they will leave on the street. Very bad service lately

@@AntiquesArena Yes this is what l worry about. My customers being let down . Again a terrible week for their service here. Most customers understand but a lot do not like this service anymore. This is becoming more apparent this end. However l do find them the best for fragile items ,glass, paintings etc. But tip l have been given is always make sure the parcel cannot fit through letterbox box ,small jiffy bags because they never make it out of their sorting office now. Straight in long pockets. Most customers are very patient but something does have to change .

If Royal Mail is anything like USPS, they can be sketchy. Don't get me wrong, most postal workers are honest people, but unfortunately there are some bad eggs. You should email the inspectors.
