It's really interesting to see that he never has the business end of his weapons pointed directly towards his allies, you can even see near the beginning that he works the crosshairs around one of the marines to keep that crosshair off of him at all times. It's not a huge deal, I just thought it was neat, because I never really see that with anyone else.

Don't know of too many real life military or law enforcement outfits who would put up with a member sweeping teammates. Rule number one of handling a firearm is never point it at anything you wish to avoid shooting. I imagine you'll see this from anyone with a modicum of quality firearms training, and you should *definitely* see it from anyone who's ever served.

I remember seeing two US Marines watch a playthrough of Clean House and one of the first things they told their viewers was to keep their weapons off of your comrades, as the player had their laser sweeping their buddies. That and I've seen a lot of firearm safety videos lol Again, it's a small detail of his style that caught my eye. It's usually people playing tactical or just playing the campaign like it's MP nowadays, very welcomed difference IMO

I luckily discovered that ladder in "Going Dark" mission in realism mode that saved me from a couple of tries definitely, but the Juggernaut at the last mission... that was my breakpoint

In marine combat training you do get taught how to navigate a ied situation and normally you would stay in your position and prepare to be ambushed, but once the ambush starts you have to do a counter assault or else you're just sitting in the kill zone that the enemy madeto begin with. So there may be other IEDS, but if an ambush is in progress, you need to counter attack. Throwing down the smoke was a good idea tho

I think OH’s point was, if there is an IED there are likely more. If you move, you’re more likely to set off others around you, whereas staying still reduces that chance. You stay still, then (I assume) call in the bomb squad, unless under fire. In that case, I’d imagine you run like hell, because your choices are definitely get shot standing still or maybe get blown up running.

I would recommend a game called "Insurgency: Sandstorm". It's a tactical fps game that has a middle eastern setting with a strong focus on CQB. All weapons can have various attachments fitted onto then and they have realistic recoil. There are various classes in the game too such as the commander who can call in various aerial attacks. It's a pretty fun game.

Recommendations for ya. Warzone on Modern Warfare 2019, also try the Spec Ops missions, they can be very hard but its more team based, as well as the straight up Multiplayer (Hardcore or Realism mods plz) I would love to see you take a crack at the remasterd versions of Call Of Duty 4 MW 1 and MW2, really good fun, the single player on COD4MW is amazing. Battlefield 1 (WW1) and BF5 (WW2) multiplayer also worth a punt.
