I’m surprised you haven’t seen this sooner. You should react to the video where Gordon Ramsay hunts and kills, cooks a wild boar with the US Army

Reminds me of a story of one of my family members who shot a deer in europe for a family that was staving literally went and found a deer and shot it with his garand and then butchered it and gave the meat to a starving family. During WW2

Seeing the Tabasco sauce really struck me, because the inventor was a General in the USMC and it is found at every table at every USMC mess hall. I learned that from my dad who was in the USMC and to see it in the Royal Marines is priceless. I hope Morale will be available in the USA or at least ship to there. I would like to try it and I signed up for email updates on it

This is the first time I will disclose this information but one of my best soldiers in the US Army was a brit that joined the US Army and he came from Yorkshire I had no idea where is that from but I couldn't understand anything this man said and always told him to speak slowly because the accent was so strong and fast. And man, me and him had a great time serving together. And he was prior service to the British Army. Great man. Loved him 🫡. In Fort Drum, NY, Golden dragons infantry. None of them knew I was a paratrooper, I was a bit harsh on them as their NCO. 🤣

Gordon does a decent amount of army stuff. He also did some things with things with the RAF

I remember getting into the US Army and getting a bunch of ACU pattern gear for training. I hated it. Everyone hated it. The only grunts that liked it were the ones with brain damage. Then I got to my first unit and I saw a soldier with some BDU pattern gear, the good lord's flannel, and it was the coolest thing ever. It just shows that cool skips a generation.

yep, Sodexo. PAYD is horrific. The Aldershot NAAFI - 'why do we sell so many bacon and sausage baps?'. Never mind, they'll burn it off in 15 mins lol. True story, a PTI is never further than 5 minutes from a mirror or reflective surface to look at themselves. It's funny seeing the old-school RMC tabs instead of the newer black and red RMC tabs.

And us US Marines have some similar stuff that happens in recruit training. Obviously not as hard or long in time but has similar things, then depending on what you do. You get even more, all around…or even above that first level. Like recon marines spend longer in training overall than you guys, cause they gotta become Marines first, then ITB and their infantry stuff after. Then selection, then actually taking and passing. But each step is to do a certain job, in the USMC, then if you can be a recon Marine. If you work with them. But not actually the same, you go through an abbreviated course, cause then you are Marine who is recon, but not a recon Marine. I don’t remember all the terms, I got out in 2010. Oh yeah. Marsoc, that’s it. So it’s wild to me, that you guys got a 32 week course to be a Marine…then I’m like oh yeah, you don’t tankers and pilots, air crew, mainters. Artillery, and like 200 different MOS’s you just jump straight to recon levels, with zero, in house support. Don’t have fighters/multi role aircraft. So vastly different. Overall, but similar in many ways .

I didn't notice it before, but you also have the leatherbound Stormlight and Mistborn books?! Ready for book 5? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the characters in Stormlight! Are they more relatable to you having served in the military?

Brother, this is fucking amazing!! Watching you get to reflect on basic training, and all the reactions to seeing those specific places, that is something that I can totally understand. US Marine here, but when someone starts talking about, or showing videos of Parris Island, I can freaking smell the place😂😂.

Glad you’re finally getting to this one. I fucking love Gordon Ramsay. He’s a national treasure to you guys I’ve watched almost his series in this vein. Were he goes around and does different things, experiences some a peoples way of life and food, things they do. Then makes them similar or better food, in their way, just with his twist. And can anyone else imagine him as a Drill Instructor, he’d be a brutual one, and so damn hilarious at the same time.

Just wondering, do your specs, cheerful expression and general affable nature ever got you in a situation, outside a nightclub, say, where random numpties, looking for trouble, severely underestimated you and unknowingly put their foolish selves in massive danger? The fiercest fighter I know personally is all of 5’6” and very friendly and mellow. People made that mistake with him more than once and it didn’t end well for them.

You don't want to say his name (Jack Ramsay)?!🤔 What do you think, that the Royal Marines are the SAS or SEAL team 6?!😆 Luke, his name has already been plastered all over the media.😄 Even Wikipedia has a list of current senior RM officers. That's funny. I already saw this about a year ago on the Office Blokes, or maybe it was Ryan Forrest's channel, I don't recall. Still, it's entertaining, especially the hush-hush intro.🤫😄
