14:58 I was one of the interpreters there! You can actually see me and my colleagues in that video. I was assigned to the Mk.19 range on the first day, the mortar range on the second day, and the 5.56 on the third. Language barriers are there, but once training went live everything went quite smoothly IMO. Definitely one of the coolest experiences to date.

Luke, if you really like this kind of exercise vids, then you really need to look for vids about joint exercise of Indonesian military & US Military and also other 13 countries called 'Garuda Shield' or 'Super Garuda Shield'. I recommend you to watch the 2022 version bcs it has better style of documentation and vids. it has a playlist with total of 30 various exercise type video in it (& also bcs it has english subtitles in it too). hope you can watch it soon enough, cheers Luke✌️

You should check out MAC-V-SOG units in Vietnam. They are Green Berets that work with lot of Mountain Yard and other minorities in Vietnam. The stuff they did was crazy and the kit they would carry on a mission was crazy. Near if not 100% casualty of the units. Not unheard of to have multiple Purple Hearts(medal received if wounded) John Stryker Meyer wrote a couple books on missions too. They had to sign 50 year NDA’s so they didn’t talk about what they did until they where in there 70’s-80’s yr old

I don't know why you like that Indonesian camo, but most Indonesians hate that camo because it is obsolete and the beige pattern is too bright. Even I read some comments from Americans in other channels criticizing that bright camo. Many people raised this concern in various media since years ago, and some of units has started to use the new camo. But unfortunately the new camo only for SOF, or Tear 1. For regular units they are still like this, there is no signs for change. 😢

Indoneisa claim to be neutral, but from what i seen they are more lean towards NATO than the east coalition of russia-china , i mean because they were doing more and more join training with NATO and allies and their equipment is now more and more west influenced-affiliated tech .
