To celebrate the 1st birthday of DOUBLE KING, Felix Colgrave (me) and the Gregorian Garage Choir (me layered over myself + public domain recordings of church choirs who probably wouldn't approve of this) released an extended version of the DK soundtrack!
And I do mean extended; none of these tracks ever actually had "full versions", but were rather just the musical fragments heard in the film.
UNTIL NOW, because I made them LONGER!
So travel back to the days of yore (2017), and hear the traditional melodies of several fallen sovereignties, now without interruption from the rude eyeball man.

Answers to a few recurring questions: -The piano music from the caterpillar funeral is Voiles by Debussy. I put a vocal sample over it and did some minor editing, but it wasn't me playing it and I didn't change it enough to consider it sampling, so I didn't include it in the album. There are other instances of public domain recordings in the film that I didn't include here, but that's the most prominent one. -The lyrics of Infernum are from a section of the Gregorian chant "Crucem Sanctam Subiit". The vocals in that one are all sung by me. -The prominent vocal sample in Dead Rat is of Russian cantor Mordechai Hershman, singing Modim Anachnu Loch -What is Spotify???

Felix colgrave I gotta say the music is amazing and the blood and sweat put in this really does show. Your style of art is wierd but at the same time beautiful and wonderous. Each thing you draw is drastically different but you can still feel something in common about them. When I watched Double King I felt like I was engulfed into a new world where it seems anything could happen at any moment. It isn't just great because of the style it also tells a story in a very imaginative way. If I was a film critic I give double King a ten out of ten. That's not Felix's style though. It took him three years as one man to make Double King. He's talented and has passion, but working for something like Adult Swim making a show I can't at all see him doing. It's to inorganic and forced.
