I am so glad he is being so well received. I honestly think that he is likely mentally handling this much better than everyone thinks. He is the only person in the world who has spent his life--all 73 years of it at that--mentally preparing himself for his life, and his destiny, after his mother's death. The Queen was 96 and led the most incredible life. He has nothing to be sad about, and hopefully doesn't feel guilty that he isn't. He has already gone through all the stages of grief years ago. Or he wouldn't be ready to be King. For that reason, he is able to now be the father of the nation, and do a great job at that. He is more likely worried about everyone else than he is licking his own wounds. He is probably excited and ready to get going, but can't be seen or heard talking about it, of course, until after the funeral. So the stress on his face is likely fatigue. Not grief. He has a job to do. And will do it well. As his father would say, he needs to just get on with it. That is what he is thinking about! Long Live The King!

This is what I have been thinking all along…That as much as we want the IDEA of having Princess Diana as the Queen consort today, destiny has led us into something else. King Charles III would not be a happy man today, and therefore ready to be a great leader, if he did not have his true love beside him. Gotta give it to the couple for looking so happy together. This is very much needed at this time, especially with all the heavy responsibilities that have been passed on to the new monarch. Camilla never seemed to be about self promotion but rather simply a supporter and number 1 fan of King Charles III.
@denisemiron13412 жыл бұрын
It was the Royal elders mistake to have prevented Charles and Camilla to marry long long ago. They were perfect for each other…the proof is here today..they are King and Queen together side by side. It’s sad that Charles was prevented to marry the woman he loved! Others decided for him and their mistake followed Charles all his life…

The one beautiful thing I am seeing with King Charles is that most people genuinely want him to succeed. In spite of any mistakes he may have made in his youth, it is in everyone's best interest for him to succeed, and I think as long as he has learned from the mistakes of his youth and follows in his mother's footsteps by honoring the office and not trying to do anything too controversial I believe he will be incredibly successful and will earn the loyalty not only of his own people, but of people around the world.

He is King, fact and he has been King in the making for so long, we all knew it would happen. Think about it, no one remembers a Prince in history, fact, so as King he will be remembered. His whole life has been dedicated for this role and once he passes yes, we move on, and William will take the mantel.

Despite the furor over the Diana Gate era I am very happy for King Charles and Queen Camila. She has really taken on the role of the spouse of the Prince and now the King in the way the world expects someone in her position to be. And despite the bad blood between the younger princes and herself King Charles obviously loves her and they work well together as a team. But the multiple exposures of them with the passing of the Queen has reminded me of their age. They already find it difficult to walk easily and move around comfortably. The passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has reminded me of the inevitable passing of the new Monarch and it is sobering to think that immediately King Charles will have to put into action the planning and complicated matters revolving around his own death. I hope that he is in his position long enough to be able to groom Prince William well enough for the very complicated role of Monarch. Despite his popularity and speculation about whether he himself should have taken over from his grand mother I do not think he is quite ready yet for the role. He possibly needs a little more time to mature into the position I alsi hope that Princess Anne will be a guiding light in this endevour. She is a strong, solid and dependable figure who has a wealth of hands on experience to draw from. Next to Queen Elizabeth I would say I love and admire her more than the rest of the family. A strong and tenacious woman.

Look Charles was 20 some odd yrs older than Princess Dianna and she knew what was going on the day she married him. I honestly felt Charles married Dianna in order to ensure an heir for the Royal throne, Carmella was very old at the time I believe she couldn't have any more children. Don't forget as soon as Charles said on that couch announcing their engagement to the reporter whatever love is that's when I would of called the marriage off. There's an old saying be careful for what you wish for and it true . Princess Dianna wanted to be a Queen she flirted with him . Look you put a nice ripped piece of fruit in front of an elders eye well they are going to take a bite. Simple as that and in one way they are now ensured many for the throne when it was just Charles and I believe that's honestly the truth. I wonder sometimes if they had some agreement for children. I don't know you never know but she knew it was three of them and that marriage. Good luck to Camilla and long live the King. My heart does go out to loosing our Queen but I have to say life is strange for many things she did Princess Dianna was the stigma that tuck at our Queens skirt since Princess Dianna had been fatally murdered. Whom made the order is something we all truly will never know however, it stands to say I pray it was not the Royals for eternal life is for all eternity. Blessings 🖤

Camilla should be like 34- 35years at the time Charles married Diana. Thats not old. Also Charles didn't marry Diana because he wanted a heir. From what I read the Queen mother wanted him to marry Diana because she thought she was suitable for him. If he had married Camilla they will still have kids, love conquers all they say. They are meant for each other.

The two Grandmothers arranged that marriage. Lady Fermoy for the advancement of her family, the Queen Mother thinking that Diana had a similar aristocratic upbringing as herself, and would adjust to Royal life easily. She forgets that she refused several times to accept her eventual husband. With all the best intentions in the world it was never going to work. The age difference, intellectual difference.

We should not be surprised if King Charles has a hissy fit as he did when a pen exploded in Hillsborough or when some clown set up a small table for large documents to sign because he is his father's son and boy could Philip let rip in the brightest Navy language! I am sure Camilla will keep him calm when the grieving is over just as the Queen kept Philip (sort of) in check. Charles has become King by right but he is King in our hearts because we respect how he has gone about the duties we have loaded on him within 24 hours of his mother passing away. He is still grieving and he has to be there every day for us and has said everything that needed to be said and said it well.
